I don't leave comments but....GURLLLLLLLLL!!!! I'm here for you I patiently wait for your videos, I'm so proud to be Haïtian...Yessssssssss! It's the beauty for me.
Does everybody from port - au- prince . Everybody should pass out flyers and put on radio news to go there from Port-au-Prince. That way everybody else don't have to worry about the Haitian coming all at once with no paperwork.
Wow I'm Haitian but I grew up in the states... This woman so beautiful!!!! God willing in the few years, I will retire and move to Haiti to preach the gospel.. feed the poor and walk on the beach barefooted in my country.
Your parents should be proud. The other day I was telling my cousins who grew up abroad (USA, Canada) that it's a bit of shame that they don't even want to know more about their heritage, they can't even speak Creole (quel horreur! haha). That's not entirely their fault as I blame my uncles/aunts for that matter but my point is this, you grew up abroad, has so much love and respect for the motherland, speaks the language, that's awesome Rutty! I'm rooting for more content! (haha) ca me fait tellement plaisir de regarder tes aventures:)
unless they live in a Haitian community or a community with a large population of Haitians, then it would be difficult for them to learn Haitian Creole. language acquisition requires environmental immersion, unless you inscribe them in language school. Also, Haitian Creole is not a popular language in media, unlike Spanish, French, English, German, Japanese, etc....
Everybody from Port of Prince please go there. You'll don't have to go to United States or Dominican Republic or Mexico or Brazil or Colombia or Nicaragua or Chili or Canada or Jamaica or Puerto Rico or Cuba or the Bahamas in list goes on. Have a blessed day
Thank you so much for showing the Beauty of Haiti. The country has so much richness to discover. Time is due to show off the positive side of the culture and the Haitian people. Way to go!👍🏽😀
Girl , your channel just popped and I took a look to see what’s going on and I decided to subscribe. You made it look so easy to be over there . Me and my husband are doing construction over there but we had to stop for a little while but as soon as we can we flying to see about our house that’s been built and we’ll probably move back for good in 5 years. We can’t wait to do that . I’ve been living here since I was 12 and I’m 45 that’s enough 😎. I’m happy for you both .I’m praying for things to get back to normal so we can continue with our plans. Love you much from Long Island NY❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am very shocked all this beauty exists in Haiti🫣I only know Jacmel and thought that was the only beautiful place. I must say I judged you before watching your vlogs and thought you were crazy for moving back home bc of all that is going on now😩😳However, I see there are different perspectives on everything and stereotypes can be dismantled no matter what! So there’s really one thing to say, Merci for taking this risk and making history in the making by helping us Haitians rethink what Haiti has to offer. Because the changes to how the future of Haiti will go starts with us especially who are in the diaspora. I salute you for taking this amazing step to your future! This is for all of us who dared to dream doing this and knew we COULD NEVER👎🏾 Now we know we can! Thank You sis! Merci sistaaa😝Love you all the way from Miami🤗❤️🙏🏽
Your vlogs bring me to tears every time. I love all these beautiful clips captured of your adventures. So excited to leave America and come back home !!!! 💜💜💜💜🥹🥹🥹🫶🏿 thank you for all that you do , all that you are. 🇭🇹 ❤️🔥🫶🏿
it reminds me so much of Lá Nouvelle Òrleáns where most of my family history is in the US. I wouldn't be surprised if I possibly had Haitian ancestry (though....through unfortunate circumstances)
I went to Cap-Haitian last year summer and I had amazing time😊I love the vlog❤. I also vlog my trip I just had to share my experiences of the culture. I love being Haitian and I’m happy your showing the beautiful sides of Haiti.
Congratulations hun! I am a new subscriber. I am living bicouriously through you right now. Thank you for taking us with you on your amazing journey. Keep the vlogs coming and thank you for taking me back home to Ocap. Funny thing is you past right in front of my aunt's house 🤗🤗🤗. The tears 😢 won't stop. Again thank you for taking us on your journey 🙏🏿 ❤️.
Damn I was researching Cap Haitian for my first time back in Haiti in 15 years and now I'm hooked...you're kinda a little bit pretty...I'm being modest...you're gorge...but yeah so I guess I'm watching your channel now that's what I do
Loving your Vlog! Would you ever be able to chat about what's happening in Haiti in terms of reforestation? Was just in Haiti and I am in love with the country - also want to know from someone who m might know how to help with the reforestation of Haiti
Oh and also my first time going to Haiti when we were going to the airport this guy in the middle of the road stopped the car and went up to the car and tried to open the doors I was kinda scared and surprised
Thanks for sharing 😊 I'm looking to return back after being away for 20years. I wanted to know, how did you feel in regards to safety? Has things calm down? What places would you recommend not going to? I have family in Cap and PAP
Girl, this was beautiful. Thank you for making it and sharing it. Did you end up going to La Citadelle? We are planning a trip in the Summer from the US. Best tips you can give us?
We actually did not end up going to the Citadelle. But I've been there before and will 100% recommend going! It is so beautiful up there. You can fly into Okap from Florida so that you can avoid the Port-au-Prince airport. My first hotel choice would be Satama and then 2nd choice is Auberge du Picolet. If you've never driven in Haiti then I wouldn't necessarily recommend renting a car. You can make arrangements with the hotel for taxi services. We booked the Cadras and Île-à-Rat excursion with Safe Trips Haiti. They can also take you to different restaurants and other places that you're interested in.
Love your vlogs. I'm really curious as to how traffic works. I'm actually curious about alot of daily facets of life but I respect your space and will just wait for you to show them if/when comfortable doing so. Full respect to your privacy. When looking up things is it mostly by word of mouth or you just look it up on Google? I know that seems like a silly question but when I lived in Maui majority of the stuff we needed we came across by word of mouth and I'm wondering if more islands function like that?
Hey hun! I will definitely show more as I vlog. I think you’ll have a better idea with each “Life in Haiti” episode. I answer your question about finding things in a dedicated video all about my move. I’ll be posting it soon. But it’s definitely a mixture. I feel like it’s hard to just look things up here. I search a lot on instagram, but also ask around. More details in the upcoming video❤️
