As usual, superb filming. These have been my weekly treats for the last 2 years. I'm going to Greece at the end of the month, so can't wait to "glide along " on your next videos! ❤
I watch your videos from really long time and what coincidence because right now I’m on holiday in Cyprus. It’s my first time here and I really love the island and hospitality of the people.
Quiero felicitarte por tu canal. Lo haces de una manera muy profesional donde nos das la oportunidad de conocer lugares extraordinarios que pocas personas tenemos la oportunidad de conocer. Gracias!
Amazing lobby! With piano! That sticks of wood at the entrance, that beautiful lights! Than continuaton of bar in another room. There are architechs and architechs. The one/s here gave us joy and pleasure while people who are staying in this lobby / bar. Absolutely stunning! And thats only beginning of this movie. Beautiful pools and surroundings, village square - first time I see sucha concept and its amazing, shops well equipped, again architect/s has amazing sense of taste - spa and everything around looks unbelievable! Restaurants / bar - Im speechless. Food, entourage, everything - astoshing!! @edit: wait, wait, wait... own ranch? Are U kidding me?.... that ribs on horse mother, not good.
Great to be watching your channel again-- I don't know what happened but somehow your videos were not on my playlist for awhile - so I will have to catch up! This hotel is stunning but the elevated white piano truly detracts from the elegant lobby giving it a hideous "Vegas" feel. If the piano was moved to the lobby with an elegant light over it when it was cocktail time and someone playing appropriate musical scores -- that would be something else entirely.
A majestic 5 star resort, thank you for showing us all the entire property with beautiful music to enjoy. It is a pity in my opinion that the beach is actually a cove and it has golden sand as opposed to white soft sand that would have been the ultimate to the resort. Does Cyprus the Greek side as is this one not have white sand beaches? Thanks again for a top notch professional video for all to enjoy and maybe one day travel and stay at this resort/hotel.
I randomly found your channel. First i saw a video then others all. I'm addicted.😊 Thanks for sharing us a beautiful travel experience. stay Blessed Huge Respect From Pakistan.

Really great. Once again a magnificent video. Looking forward to your review. At 2:00+ you approached directly over my home away from home at Aphrodite Hills which is directly above Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite Rock). We are a luxury resort of apartments and villas set in a golf and tennis community. There is also a TUI Hotel and village square with shops and restaurants. Cap St Georges is an extremely welcome addition to the Cyprus luxury market usually dominated by the Four Seasons in Limassol. Korantina Homes, developers of Cap St Georges, are extremely brave to have poured millions into the development and like most have been somewhat reliant on the Russian market which is now in jeopardy on the Island. They will need to adapt to find new markets for the real estate part of the resort. Having said that, it is a beautiful development and worthy of a visit. Fun fact: Not far from Cap St Georges is the Akamas National Park with one of the best Blue Lagoon Beaches in the Med., and perhaps globaly.
Was it possible to get a meal at the Japanese restaurant without a show? It would be a bit much for me. Especially if I were made to participate. Otherwise a nice resort. Doesn't seem awfully impressive. But I guess we all have different tastes. 😊 The video is absolutely wonderful as always. You're really good at your hobby. 😉
I think the Japanese grill show is more for groups and families. This would keep the children entertain while waiting for the meal to be prepared. I agree with you a quiet meal for one or two is much more preferred.
@@luxurytravelexpert I'm almost sure she meant to not have any show at all because there are and tables around with other customers that have no any mood to hear a noisy juggler in the room.
About 2012 I stayed at a fairly high end hotel called The Saint George Hotel I believe in Paphos it wasn’t as posh as this however. Is the the same hotel but has since been vastly upgraded. A long long time ago I stayed at a 5 star hotel called The Cypria Maris I believe also in the Paphos area.
That's russian. Here's it in languages understandable by more people: English: "Everything is great. Full immersion in the reality of what's happening. A marvelous resort!" French: "Tout est magnifique. Une immersion totale dans la réalité de ce qui se passe. Une station balnéaire merveilleuse !"
@@paradonym THANK YOU ! Although I could use many translators, including google, is amazing that some people feel boring to use any translator, online or program, to write in English in an ENGLISH channel.
Dont like this hotel at all. The main building looks like an converted office center, there are no trees, no shade, the interior design looks generic and outdated, the chandelier in the bar looks like used condoms... Most unimpressive. But i love all of your videos.
Good afternoon! great video! when was this filmed? maybe you remember what was the temperature of the air during the day and the temperature of the water in the sea? Thank you!😊
I expect prices below 1.000€. Even for the room shown... EDIT: Damn. 1026 €... Feeling was right. A bit too overpriced. But other rooms are pretty reasonably priced. you save a whopping 400 € just by taking a villa without a pool. That must be worth a much larger pool than this whirpool shown. At least toiletries are good. (Be careful, this is a view through an ongoing depression)
Is that the price a night? I paid around the same to stay at Burj Al Arab in Dubai. This doesn't even come close in anyway to this. I've stayed in more luxury hotels than this for less money. Not sure why it's so expensive. Don't get the price point at all.
@@carolinelane9599 this is a prica per night. Keep in mind that Burj Al Arab is a different category of hotel. Someone who visits Cap St. Georges has different vacation goals than someone visiting Burj Al Arab.
The Hotel is top notch and everything else ,except for that Japanese chef was hysterical and they probably should be removing that cuisine as well .however the videos that you upload has surpassed all the travel videos on any channel here on youtube and everywhere else...👍
Compared to many of the other resorts that you have visited (in the Maldives, for example), this resort is rather underwhelming, IMO. Still an enjoyable vid, though. :)
@@michaelchambers3683, he finds times when there are not many people around then. What are you trying to prove here? He has said in many videos that the resourts are in fact fully booked at the times he is there. I for one appreciate not seeing many random people in his videos. I am here to see the resorts, hotels and flights, not people.
Seems a bit pointless to do a "refined interpretation of Cyprus' landscapes" when the hotel is just one brick-shaped building in a whole wall of brick-shaped buildings. This hotel might be super luxurious and fancy and so may be the ones surrounding it, but the whole complex still looks like an excess of cheap mass tourism.
This is not a comment on the video. It's a comment on the hotel. Except for the food, there's nothing about it that I like. It looks sterile, characterless. It's way too big. The "beach" is awful (on this point, I admit that I'm spoiled by the beaches here in my home, Arcachon). The video was helpful in that I know to add this hotel to my "hard pass" list. Just my opinion. Maybe not even worth 0,02 €.
Thanks for sharing. As always beautifully done. No reflection on you whatsoever. Not feeling the luxury in this one unfortunately. Small rooms. Generic lobby area. Too big to be luxury in my eyes.
Cyprus is the only divided nation in Europe. 37% of the island is illegally occupied by the Turks since 1974. Another smaller part is occupied by the British who have set up military bases on the island. Why do I include the British? Because as a protectorate of the island, they had to intervene but instead watched as the Turks invaded and committed genocide against the Greeks. Today the Turks actively alter the demographics of the occupied area by pushing mainland Turks to migrate on the island. Both genocide and active demographic alterations to a region are classified as acts against humanity by the Geneva Convention. Ironically it is exactly what the Turks are currently doing in Northern Syria which they occupy; they have committed genocide against the Kurdish, Christian and Yezidi population, repopulating the region with Turkmen. All this while the righteous West and East sit and watch. It is a shame. The island of Cyprus and its people deserve much, much better.
If I see someone playing like that - in Bonsai Restaurant - even if it's for kids - I'm just turning around and leaving. I can understand it's for kids and I'm okay with that being a 5*-Experience with him, but I prefer silence. Nobody guarantees me that the next children come and get the same treatment right after...
