Thank you. For the reset circuit at the end, does that mean the capacitor sends the voltage in the opposite direction of the 5 V? Because the 5 V is coming down then the capacitor is sending the 5 V back up?
You confused yourself with the computer reset example. You state the chip resets on a low, as indicated by the bar over the reset line, but then you say it resets once it gets above 1 volt. The RC circuit you connected would reset the cpu on an active high after the time period. If you wanted the low to reset it after a period of time, you'd need the reset line in series after the capacitor.
