Please can you tell me? I can’t get a straight forward answer anywhere. How much is it to stay during your off season? My husband and I really need to take our long over due belated honeymoon getaway, and we finally have money. We’re looking for the cheapest time of the year to stay and cheapest bed and breakfast. If you know any of these please let me know. 🙏
I couldn't love this video more. Thank you for putting it together. Dennis has been my second home since the 1960s and recently has become my primary home. I love our little seaside town.

Dennis is beautiful. Dennis Port is one of the gems of all of Cape Cod. Most say that the 'bay side' of Dennis is a little 'honky tonk'...but I don't think that's true...it's just that you need to drive everywhere. Where Dennis Port has a more 'beachy village feel' to it. If you park your car...you can basically do everything on foot for the entire weekend! Enjoy!
My Dad's sister had a cottage that we would rent. It was not very far from the Sea Street Beach. That's where we learned how to swim in Salt water. There use to be a fsrmstsnd on Lower County Road plus a Pizza shop.
@@wherenexttravel My parents had a friend who lived in Dennis. She was a artist. It was Dennis Port where her cottage was. It was 2 bedrooms and I slept on the pullout bed. Small bathroom and a outdoor shower. It was fun.

If you're planning on vacationing in dennis please remember to stay covid safe, by wear your mask and get the vaccine if available. The median age of Dennis residents are elderly people who are susceptible to the virus. Also just remember to be cautious of other people and locals while out in public. Have a great vacation!!!
We stayed during the off season and it was certainly more affordable than in the high season. Depending on where you are wanting to stay, it never hurts to ask for a reduced rate because its the off season. Just be aware, many of the shops and restaurants are closed during the quiet season, however on the flipside, you have Acadia pretty much to yourselves! We loved it!
We loved our time in Dennis. We found it to be very relaxing and the people were very friendly. Thats said, we are not locals so hopefully some locals will chime in. :)
How can you talk about Dennisport and not mention the Kreme 'n Kone. Best fried clams on the Cape. And what about Fritz' Glass Works? And, finally, Sundae School.
