Monday the third of April 2023
After a couple of days of rough seas and strong winds the sea finally gave us a break. launching at Simons Town just after first light and running the 25 km down to the Point with intent of catching Yellowtail/Kingfish. On arrival at the Point the with no birds working I was starting to think I made a mistake.

You need to tie a long cord to your out board motors kill switch? Why? Because if you fall off your small rubber duck : Whilst it is gear : Your rubber duck will ride in circles: And your out board motor can then chop you up in the water. It will be very hard for you to get back on your chilling and moving rubber duck. You might be wearing a self inflatable life jacket: The problem is if you fall off it will inflate. Makingbit impossible for you to dive below the water surface : Which makes you an easy target for your curvking rubber duck and its motor to chop you up. Now bleeding in the water : is nit a good idea. So please attach a cord to yourself and the kill switch of your put board mother. Otherwise : You have been Blessed with Awesome Yellowtail Fishing and an Asweome Day : With Amazing Windless Blue and White Cloud scenery: Of Cape Point and Penguin Light House.
