In Cape Town David and I signed up to do an abseil down Table Mountain with Abseil Africa. I was actually much much more terrified than I look in this video! But it is fun... once you go over the edge! (SPOILER ALERT: If you are going to sign up for this - and don't want to spoil the surprise - then only watch the first 30 seconds!) We took our own GoPro but they have helmet mounts you can use. The hike down from that point was extremely difficult.
