I understand y u were bored in Jozi. Sandton it is not a vacation city. Jozi (Sandton) where u were based is more a business City than a holiday or vacation. Johannesburg is big and Johannesburg North thats where things r happening. Next time book touring bus in Johannesburg it is safe, so u can see JOZI Most people when they come to SA for a holiday they think about Cape Town. You should try Durban which is warm even the sea water is warm bcoz it is Indian Ocean. Cape town will be cold even the water in the sea is cold ( South Atlantic Ocean) Next time try Mpumalanga were u will enjoy beautiful land scapes and Luxury dining in the wild and u will do more activities than staying in the hotel n Kruger National Park Gqeberha ( Port Elizabeth) same vibe as Cape Town and it has the same kind of landscape as Cape Town, u will enjoy it. To enjoy SA u need to explore, very beautiful place. Cape town is not the only vacation place in SA For me i enjoy Jozi more than Cape Town. Johannesburg is the central hub for entertainment for the whole of South Africa. Next time do your research and plan ahead or even meet up with someone local to show you around. Jozi is one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world, with a lot different sections and areas. You were in Sandton City you didn't have to lock yourself in the hotel room, you could have walked down the street and nothing was going to happen to you😂. I feel like you have missed an opportunity to have fun and experience Jozi because of the people that were in your ear warning you about the place and I'm willing to bet those people have a limited knowledge of that city.
