step 1 : dont let people watch you enter your pin. step 2 : bank should have been called immediately. cant take out money if the card and pin number doesn't work. this can take like 5 minutes tops.
ppl doesnt know who theyre stealing from & what struggles the person is going through, dont let anyone help you, just tell them "MOVE id figure it out"
That also happened to me but the securities were watching and they caught the man while the other guy told me to put my pin and I just decided to cancel but my card wasn't coming out and he said I should just put my pin, the securities got to us and they called us with the man being held. They told me the man who spoke to me first had my card and that the boy wad trying to get my pin.
I saw some ATM thieves robbing another lady yesterday in Durban west street 320, I was so tempted to shoot them all but my wife stopped me. I reported it to the security n I also called the police but they never came. My heart is still broken even today.
That's why if anyone gets near me I size them up and focus 100% attention to them at my atm but it's outside the bank always robbed so it's permanently closed
I hope he got that money back since they were caught. 😭 Bank-security should be taking those operators out & the ATM's shouldn"t be so easy to manipulate & entrap next unsuspecting victim. 😡
This happened to us a week ago. Johannesburg, Ghandi square, TWICE with only one successful attempt. First time it was old men and they got the pin, took out R1 500 which was the daily limit, we managed to transfer the rest of the money to my account. Now before we got out to withdraw the seriously needed cash I decreased my limit to the needed amount, R200. Same place but different ATM with good looking guys 😎 this time God saw us through coz I snatched that catched that card under his cash and he created a scene. All this happened with security around!!

There are times when I believe everybody deserves a second chance. We seldomly rarely are aware of "why" people stoop to these levels. I personally have visited the inside of a jail cell , and have even said that "I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to be there"... But these two right here, Should be locked underneath the jail and have the key thrown away. To victimize those that are only trying to better themselves is an unforgiving offence.

this is good 50yrs behind bars and after conviction they're too old to wipe their arse. 7yrs of operations and they hurt many people. I wish the S.African government will ceased their properties and everything in it.
