In this section, candidates are provided with a passage to read.
Following the reading, candidates are required to write a precis of the passage in their own words while retaining the essential points and the overall meaning.
The precis should be brief, clear, and accurately reflect the main ideas of the passage.
Candidates must focus on maintaining the original tone and coherence of the passage while condensing it into a shorter form.
Precision and clarity in expression are essential for scoring well in this section.
