I MISS these guys. So sad they aren’t making music together anymore. I saw them live several times at a local youth conference and their shows were always the wildest part of the weekend.
Interesting fact-Cole Walowac, 1/2 of the Capital Kings duo, is a friend, co-writer, and co-producer to NF. He also goes by the name Saint X. Capital Kings has been on a hiatus for the last 3 years. Very talented guys!
Yeah. These guys were pretty good. First heard of them from the guest spot on Royal Tailor "Ready Set Go". Now that I think about it, EDM is a _major_ influence giving CCM genre its distinctive (positive) sound. For my money, the gold standard is Family Force Five ("Radiator" and "Cray Button" are great) but there's a laundry list of other incorporating or being EDM outright: VERIDIA, Manic Drive, Eleventyseven, After Edmund (they did live), Plumb (go for the remixes), Hollyn, Tauren Wells (formerly of Royal Tailor), Rebecca St. James, Superchick (miss you guys!), even Red. But going back to my point, if one listens closely the EDM DNA is everywhere in CCM TobyMac, Johnathan Thulin, For King and Country, Jordan Feliz, Coulton Dixon, Needtobreathe. Yeah big part of "positive hit radio". Now all I have to do is try and identify the other bits.
As requested, for King and Country reaction, please 🥺. @Roxana Budimir suggested joy. and @Grace Knowles suggested O God Forgive Us. I suggest Burn the Ships :). P.S. If/when you react to them, please try doing it with the music videos. They compliment the songs with the videos and helps add meaning and context to the songs and lyrics. Thanks! Tacos out ✌🏽
"I will walk by faith, even when I cannot see" is what it stopped on and it is exactly what I needed to receive. Thanks again for what you do brother-man! Note to those who watch and listen to your channel, press like right after you press play. The little kid's voice and what he says are enough to press the "like" button! Spread the love!
You asked for 💞🔥from MaMa Rita and I. These songs I can compare Capital Kings to Hillsong Young and Free up beat dance songs and a little Toby Mac. Great songs, Geeat day off staying very busy
