As a Michigan fan seeing Joe Milton have a great game makes me smile. He got a raw deal here and unlike JJ, Cade, Speight, Ruddock and Patterson fans and coaches weren’t patient with him. So glad to see him soaring at Tennessee

Tennessee is one of the most entertaining teams in the nation to watch due to their up tempo offense. I hope they make the CFP next season and Joe Milton wins HEISMAN.

I can't tell you how happy l am they had this good of a season. I'm a lifelong vol fan and I think we all got spoiled years ago from their success.

If you could’ve told me after we lost to GaST we’d win 11 games 2yrs later, beat LSU, UF, BAMA, and Clemson in the same year and win the Orange Bowl I’d call you crazy. Can’t believe this year I’m so proud of these guys. I’m going into NYE feral and bleeding orange. GBO🍊🍊

Milton barely flicks his wrist and it’s gone, 50 yards downfield. I was nervous for him to take over bc of his inconsistency, but man has he grown. We need our O-line to pick up pressure better and we’ll be set next year! I thought our D had some false bravado going on early (since our D was like 131st in country at 1 point this year) but they pulled it off. Super excited for Vol Nation and Milton III. Also the young DBs and WRs were exciting to watch!

Congrats VOLS from a GA fan! I was hoping y’all would win this game (even though I like Clemson and Dabo) but I wasn’t sure how it would go without Hooker. Well Milton really impressed me! So happy TN had a good season and ended it with a big win! Can’t wait to see how y’all progress next season. Now I just hope my Dawgs can pull off a big win tomorrow ❤

I think they had the Heisman at tonight's game already waiting on Clemsons Qb. For next year. Clemson and the media overlooked the Vols. Kid never lost a game . Guess now he knows he isn't in highschool anymore.

I am so proud of this UT vols team. No one ever expected us to even beat Florida or Alabama this year but we proved them wrong. I can’t wait for next year with Big Orange. Til then Rocky Top you’ll always be home sweet home to me.

I swear this Tennessee team came out of no where. Nobody expected them to do anything this season and they nearly get to the college playoffs, win a bowl game against a great Clemson team and beat Alabama. Congratulations Vols.

Yep as i thought. Tennessee should still be ranked above bama because of that head to head. People said they had lost they qb but that didn't give bama the right to be ranked above them with the same record/head to head win over bama. Not a Tennessee fan.

Man I had my doubts about this game as a vol fan. I thought Clemson was a bad matchup and that they’d finally found their QB..and we had lost Hendon, Hyatt and Jeremy Banks. But Milton proved me wrong! He’s the man next year. I hope he continues to get better and maybe this time they won’t snub Tennessee for the Heisman

Michigan fan here, glad joe milton getting better. He was the hype before jj mccarthy. And then good luck to are other transfer qb Cade mcnamara who just left. He had a good season but everybody knew jj was better. Cade will help iowa and play good football. They will be a tough team next year. Joe had/got plenty arm strength and needed to bring it down. He needed better accuracy/ and not holding it to long.

Clemson fan here: Tennessee played fantastic. That backup qb for Tennessee starts in any other conference. He was great. I thought Clemson played decent but overall just got outplayed by a better football team and Cade played well for his first game as a starter in college but Tennessee was just the better team this year. They have so many explosive players on the offensive side. Clemson doesn’t have that rn other than Shipley. I think Clemson OL is lacking big time and D secondary is lacking big time. And if they get those two things and a few more explosive WRs they’ll be back in playoffs next year. Atleast I hope lol Good game Tennessee deserved it. Congrats

I think what makes me so happy about this win was the fact that Dabo was talking trash, then had to back track what he said and then his team got dragged by basically a 2nd and 3rd string Tennessee team. This loss would have been much greater if they faced the healthy Tennessee team. Good game to both programs, though. The future looks bright for both.

Beat Clemson and Bama in year 2 under Heupel. Went 11-2. What a great year to be a Vol.

Just watched the highlights from a guy named Wheels. Camera angle from QBs perspective and you see how fast all this happens. Also, didn't have to hear the announcers talk about Klubnik and Klubnik, and Klubnik. And his parents. And grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Is it ok the finally say Clemson do not belong in the playoffs this year without being called a hater?

New Clemson QB has some Jordan Travis similarities. Super quick feet and mobile, body build, nice touch throwing and good long ball accuracy, moment not too big and he has plenty of room to grow like Jordan did. Just see some similarities between the 2, but this is the first I really got to watch Cade play as well!

Joe Tessitore is an amazing commentator. One of the very best.

The South Carolina loss certainly kept UT out of the playoff, and what stings about it is had UT slowed their tempo, gone to a run-focused scheme, they probably would've won that game. With that said, Joe Milton looked great. The defense was "bend, but don't break", and it's the first time in two decades that I can confidently look to the next season and say Tennessee can win it all. Clemson's QB is very good. I think they should've run the ball more, but despite that, the QB is elite. So, Clemson fans have much to look forward to. Great match-up, great fan bases, and I'm sure Miami's Chamber of Commerce was elated to host these two programs and fan bases -$$$$$$

The Orange Bowl use to be the last bowl game played on New Years day back in the last century when TV was free for all. Payton Manning is a happy dude right now.

There wasn't much of a drop off without Hendon hooker. S. White should've got more playing time during the season, Tennessee has a lot of new talent joining them next year and they need to explode, great win Vols.

With the supposed injured, transfer portal, and opting out players every team playing in a bowl game has to deal with these bowl games have become a shell of what they use to be. I was looking at every team that is playing in a bowl game and some teams appear to have about half the roster missing
