I kinda want that one guy from Wasteland stories/NEW RUSSIA episodes to survive and escape to the next wastelands (new series) and start some sort of faction of hunters/mercs in the new wasteland. That would be cool, seeing as how he is the most reoccurring character in the series so far
There are 3 settings I would really want to see for the next attachment in our post-apocalyptic series, and they're Southern China/SE Asia, East Africa (Somalia, Ethiopia), and Canada/Alaska. Nice video, Diplex. Hope you,like my suggestions. Can't wait for the coming episodes :)
You could have the New Russian army attack the capitol from one direction and the Commonwealth attack from another direction with the New Order defending the capitol. And as the New Russians and Commonwealth move into the capitol they start fighting each other has they run into each other in the capitol city.
First of all, great vid (again) but I have a question, I cant find the units you are using in this mod, since most of the units in the RR mod seem to be soldiers with regular uniforms (camo) Did you custom add them?
Truthfully I would enjoy seeing the next series in Britain, as you've got three countries very close together and you would probably see a lot of old/new factions emerging and I just think it would be pretty cool that's all.
Was it the coax or the or top mount? I was watching on my tiny ass phone screen. If it was the coax, it is definitely the DS. I know some MBTs had the Kord mounted up top.
Also, a group called Trade Guards. A independent branch of survivors that protect areas in the trade lands that can't be protected by a main force. Another one could be Wasteland Hunters who track down bandit groups all over the wasteland for a fee.
For the next post World War 3 series I would like to see some changes that I believe will improve gameplay and make it easier for you. I thought that you should make the game more like a grand strategy game. Summary A group of factions battle each other throughout a map for provinces. They can choose to develop their economy, improve their defenses or build more troops each turn. Winner is the one with the most provinces at the end of the game. Examples features that the game can have (open to input) Each faction will start with their own provinces and will have starting traits Traits can include getting troops for cheaper,being able to build better defenses, able attack at night ect. Each province has its own terrain that yield specific bonuses to the owner(It can be economical or defensive). Fighting in the Mountains will make the province easier to defend but it will produce less income . Their should also be a catalog of prices for each military unit. An Example 10 soliders can cost 1 currency 5 RPG troops can cost 1 currency 1 tank may cost 2 currency to build. 1 BTR can cost 1.5 currency to build The point of giving units price is so you can not spam units when creating the maps. It takes the balancing aspect of the game away from you. It allows each faction to be limited by the choices they have made. If Faction A attacks Faction B with 30 troops and 2 tanks when Faction B only has 30 troops, so be it. Examples of building up defenses are A level 1 defense outpost can have sand bags with 3 stationary machine guns or 1 anti tank gun cost 2 currency A level 2 defense outpost can have 5 stationary machine guns and 2 anti tank guns. (Cost an additional 2 currency must have defense outpost level 1 first) Last the Economic development is self explanatory. A faction can choose to divert resource to build up its Economy so it can produce more in the future. Example of how this plays out in a story line perspective. Faction A is a warmonger and begins by spending all of its income on building troops to attack the neighbors. Faction B can build up defenses on its boarder or ally with Faction C. Faction C can accept the alliance and later backstab B or use Faction B to take Faction A out.Faction D may just build a few troops and build up its economy so it can prepare for its expansion ambitions. It can play the waiting game and jump on its enemy's when they least expect it.
you made new weapons? :O thats so cool but dippy dont be ashamed as long as their some fire actions and some good explosions its enough to earn my like and its been that way for about 99% of your videos! :) and by the way what would the new series be about??
You should start flushing out the factions, not add anymore but have some sort of conflict that is a long drawn out yet interesting conflict. Add stories about corrupt politicians, uprisings, new religions that spring up in the wasteland, etc. Love the vids btw :)
And yeah... I have an idea for a new series. Norway. I can help you with flag ideas and weapons, tanks or just layouts. I cannot however make it. Just help you with Norwegian stuff... I know you're Swedish so you might know something about Norway, but example ideas for at least three factions I know could be a thing in a potential Wasteland here in Norway. Number 1. New Statoil. They would focus on getting out to the Oil-rigs in the North Sea and get them working or just using them as a Base, how cool wouldn't it be that they went to the Oil-rigs and set up Base there, then someone else come trying to take over. Number 2. Jegerkommandoen (Ranger Command/Rangers). They would be Ex-military fighting every faction that is. Not killing Wastelanders, but other military forces mainly. Their main goal is to conquer and secure Norway and remain peace. They would use Camps/Forts from before the WW3 as bases. Number 3. The Vikings. They are like the big bandit group of Norway. They run around in small groups and just kill as many as they can or raiding civilians/wastelanders, and they never settle anywhere. always on the move to find someone to vandalise. They're not high on drugs or anything, but they are really religious. They are basically Vikings. They believe in Tor, Odin and Loke, and with it comes the belief that if you kill as many as you can before dying the Gates Of Valhall opens. So the term "I'd rather go down blazing" is a thing for them. just tough ide point out that the carl gustav IS the best "rocket launcher" in the world however this isnt due to its AP or damage potential but rather becouse of its wide variaty if ammunition which is why i put "rocket launch" in quotations becouse depending on the ammo loaded at the time its either a "rocket launcher" or "recoilless rifle" both terms are correct.
I aint that sure.. maibe there were swedish vikings... Ehh. But he shoult make the norwegen and swedish sure. It woult be nice for there to be different factions besides the same factions everyday (russia,america etc) WE WANT SMALLER NATIONS DAMNID!!!
+Christian Haegler the swedes where vikings but I think tey where more peaceful because they where travelling in the eastern rivers and if they fucked with someone on a river they could not get any further than that point
I really hope the last episode of this series is an all out attack on the new Russia bunker, with lots of close quarters fighting and room clearing that would be amazing to see.
You should do a zombie apocolypse make us get close to characters from multiple groups and watch as they tear each other apart over supplies and territory
Can you do a Oneshot episode set in Post war Japan? Between the Radicals forces and the Remnate governing Troops in Urban ruins? Using the Type-64 and Type-89 rifles?
Hey diplex I feel like it would be a fun idea if you went first person like you did a long time ago and play as a civilian in one of these assualts and try and find a weapon off a dead body to help fight back
literally the way Diplex describes the New Russia faction is pretty much the Enclave from fallout 2 and 3 extremely advanced technological faction but few in numbers
GUYS HOW DO I GET THE RED RISING MOD FOR MEN OF WAR ASSAULT SQUAD 2 I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE , IS IT TAKEN OFF STEAM , AND HOW DO YOU GET THE MODERN MOD WITH TANKS AND BTR AND HELICOPTERS AND ALL THAT I AM REALLY CONFUSED I HAVE THE GAME BUT ONLY PLAY VANILA
The New Russians should set up a fob to repair all their damaged equipment while the main force continues their push. The New Russians wouldn't be dumb enough to let good equipment, like the t-64 and emplacements, go to waste even if it isn't as good as what they currently have.
Just a small thought, what if people form a faction called RE? RE for Russian Empire. People who feel to restore the Russian monarchy and have been in hiding before this and been waiting for the right time. They would wear green uniforms and use stock weaponry they gathered from the abandoned weaponry depots. Just a thought.... Sorry if it sounds dumb.
Hi, recently I have download Mowas2 by Steam. And I am looking forward to download the red rising mod. But when I followed an old Raptor video of how to do it, when I went in the game to activate the mod, it put me that the mod wasn't compatible, probably because was a mod for the beta. Does anyone know how to download the red rising mod compatible to the actual game?? :(
