I really don't think the crowd was dead. I think since Steez was still on the come up and since he hadn't been getting nearly as much shine as Joey was at the time people were still trying to get a feel for him. Just because the crowd wasn't loud doesn't mean they weren't appreciating his music. You can see they were still feeling his vibe and liking his shit. The concert just had a more underground feel to it.

people slept on the first tracks he performed because they weren't used to his style and technique he has in his lyricism. But then when survival came on, they saw his fulll potential, and flow, that he murdered the song with his talent.And to be honest, I felt the vibe difference when it came on too as if i were in the crowd... you know how there are more popular singles that do really well and then there are the underrated bangers? - like the difference between Waves and Don’t Front - steez has a ton of Dont Fronts which is why he didn’t gain that much traction. He probably would’ve done numbers if he’d put Survival Tactics on AK and played with the pop image a little more. he too much trust in the people to decide for themselves to fukk with him. i guess that’s the price you pay for being real tho
