Caps fans here and I laughed. The caps do this every single year so I honestly gave up on them winning. I still watch for some perverse reason but tune out of most of the regular season games.

this is hilarious, being a B's, red Sox, & pat's fan I feel their pain but I wouldn't dismiss being their fan although things have changed over the past decade for my teams. In all reality I have nothing to do with a win or loss, lol!

Butters, my point was Caps fans have seen their team fail right on cue every year. Hawks were terrible this year, that I will not deny. I give the Preds their due. This shit is so funny because everyone that has passion for a team has been there. We've felt these feelings. I will admit i've typed out angry messages similar to some of these on sports team pages before, but i took a deep breath, centered myself, and thought "you know what, I'm not that guy, there is always next year" and not posted them.
Now that the Pens won, I can say that I feel soooooo sorry for the Caps fans!! Personally I think that the Caps and Pens should be in different divisions. Wouldn't it be great to see them play in an ECF? It would be a great series. Of course the Pens would win and at least the caps would get to the ECF for a change. So its a win, win situation for both sides! lol
And not only that the Penguins won it all and became the first team in the salary cap era and in 20 years to repeat as Cup champs just to put more salt on the wound. hahahahahahaha.
