I finally took the time to work out an All Majors strategy. Hope you guys enjoy! If there are any questions left after the video, please go ahead and ask! Thank you guys for your support. It took plenty of time to make this so I really hope you enjoy it.
amazing video, thank you for your time and effort in doing this. I really like your explanations. I'm going to have a lot of fun doing something similar.
Imagine being a german cavalry officer, enlisting in January wanting to protect your country, coming home by Christmas after participating in the ambitious false flag operation in Yugoslavia leading to the dual naval invasions of the UK and France, the strategic overthrow of Mussolini's Italy, the 7 day war against Poland that was won on a technicality, before being ordered to ride all the way down through Africa only to be stopped half way and shipped off to Madagascar, joining the Chinese war against Japanese aggression one year too early because hitler allied the Chinese and declared a preemptive strike against japan, immediately after which your unit is disbanded and you plus your horse is somehow moved too Cuba for the naval invasion of the US, finally returning to the fatherland, given a rifle, and sent to the eastern front for the final war against Bolshevism.
That making Czechoslovakia faction leader strat is so smart, Canada is always a pain to invade. Amazing video I always learn something new whenever I watch your vids.
The soldiers that invades you suddenly become farmers and factory workers in the local town There are also overpopulation of horses all accross the world
My brain has a hard time processing all of this happening in early 1936. I was like "Is he gonna battle plan through Czechoslovakian lvl 7 forts? Good luck with that!".
I'm one of those people who doesn't like order 66, but IMO this is its proper usage. because you are utilizing it as part of a well thought out strategy rather than using it as part of a regular game where you use it to shut off your brain and auto-win
This is insane, when you were invading the US i thought they'd have too much divisions, but then remembered it was still 1936 lmao. Amazing stuff man, watched the whole thing.
Very high quality production. Listening to you explain anything in this game is endlessly entertaining, to say nothing of just how much I learned in 41 minutes. Your hard work and dedication paid off immensely.
Thank you very much! Honestly means a lot, since it's not easy to make time inbetween work and family so your comments are really what motivates me to keep at it.
I just wanted to say that you're part of the amazing people who explain something really hard the easiest way and it just makes your video so enjoyable Amazing gameplay, made me understood how airforce works lol
Thank you so much for this amazing run. The video was really fun to watch, especially with the great editing and the detailed explanations. You definetly deserve more attention. Keep up your great work!
I'm happy you enjoyed it! I'll probably experiment with thumbnails and title a bit in the future to see if I can get some more views on this video before it becomes more or less useless with the next big update.
What an incredible video. I might have 2000 hours in HoI4 but if you asked me if this was possible I would have said a hard nope. You explained everything very clearly which is quite rare for a HoI4 video 😆
Thank you! I tried to squeeze in as much knowledge as possible without overloading it. But I still have some stuff up my sleeves that I haven't showcased yet ;-)
Just an fyi, to create multiple copies of the same air wing. Use the 'F' hotkey to duplicate. Saves LOADS and LOADS of clicking when you're making a bunch of 100s fighters and what not.
Could you imagine if this was like a real scenario. Like the experience of a average person in this world. And the history books and stories of the war. I can imagine the OKW trying to explain their plans and then just reeling and celebrating endlessly when actually works. And the combat was so fast it be nearly bloodless. I would love to see a story written in the world of 1 speedruns, where in the span of 6 months the Roman Empire comes back and conquers the world. Just a thought.
Thank you and glad that you found your way here =) If you don't mind, I'd be very interested to know how you discovered the video. I'm still rather inexperienced in expanding the channel audience.
@@m3an Well I was watching a video from Feedback and finished it was looking at the recommended videos and it had your fastest Allies capitulate video. Never seen it there before and watched it. Liked it a lot and started watching more videos of yours. So I thought I leave a comment how much I enjoyed your videos. Hope this helps some.
This video deserves way more credit than it already has. I really enjoy your speed runs, and I've seen your old HRE video a few times already. Looking forward to more content.
Nice job man.Followed your china tutorials and it worked pefectly and now this looks insane man.Can you do a capitulate all axis speedrun? I can't even defeat the axis in normal runs and i searched online and there are not many runs dedicated specifically agains the axis.Maybe this would be a challenge for you?
I think they changed world tension since this video came out, now it ticks up slowly over time while the wargoal justifies instead of instantly flaring up.
Hey man! How are you able to launch naval invasions without naval supremacy? I have seen countless of your videos doing this , including the one of you explaining it, however I can never replicate it.
I do have naval supremacy and you do too, but only for a very brief moment. You need to pre-launch the invasion before the war starts and declare war at 1am on the day that you get the war goal. In the case of Yugo, where we have to wait a couple of hours, do it in the hour the UK guarantees Yugo.
Paradox needs to fix the alliance flaw, there needs to be a check for each nation involved - either it can surrender or continue the war factionless (obviously the decision would be based on the current capitulation status.)
@@m3an this means that the entire british commonwealth can be seized by capping the UK right? cuz in my Italy games (following ur Roman empire speedrun, with some changes) i cap UK in 1937 and can puppet canada, that's how I invade USA. im kinda new to the game but ur speedruns are really fun to try.
Hi really great video! I don't understand the fast navel invasion part tho. How do you assign all these navel invasions without getting a 70 day penalty? I'm don't know if it's been patched or I'm just not getting it
Thank you! Naval invasion orders recieve planning time no matter if they have divisions assigned or not. So if you just place the orders in advance, you already build up the planning time. Obviously the first invasion happens before the orders can recieve the full 70 day bonus, but if you look closely, you'll see that I never assign more than 5 divisions per order in that first invasions, because that's the limit with only 35 days of prep time. On top, if you unassign divisions that just left port and assign another batch of 10, you can send out more than just 10 and recycle the invasion orders.
Hi, I don´t know if you see this but Im new to this game (yeah its old I know) and I´ve wanted to challenge me but when I wanted Yugoslavia to form a Faction I couldn´t do it because of the negative modifire of "Neutrality -50" what is the problem?
@@LucaS-zb2yq All steps necessary are shown in the video. Improve relations with Yugo to +11, spike WT by justifying against US, delete Axis and form a new faction with Yugo. You need to wait until the next day after justifying against US for Yugo to chance its stance. I won't be home until later this evening, but if you still have issues with Yugostrat you can ask on the Hoi4 Speedrunning Discord
Love it. But probably you have an idea why the polish are not in the peace conference with czech - did it twice same result. The war with poland continues. War against albania started 29.3. war against poland 21.4. - but if i captitulate czech (5.5.) as only major nation in the war poland is not in the peace conference. You mentioned 7 days - that should be sufficent, shouldn't it? And bringing poland to capitulation takes me forever so i end in a spiral of failure ;)
How did you try to create war score for Poland? If the time is so short, you basically need to hold at least a tile to guarantee their presence in the peace conference. 7 days is sometimes too short for combat to produce casualties, same for strat bombing and building damage.
@@m3an i had their capital and around 17% warscore (sneaked in from below) - also danzig - in the last attempt; i checked in the running wars and saw both wars - if the wars are joined there should be only one entry - correct? confusing, will do another try in the next days - the hardest is always france, you were very lucky with the defended tiles :) - ah by the way i loved the advisor popup in the video - really creative - and again thanks, i have played this game for years (world conquests many achievements..) but i think i learned more in your video than in months of playing
@@jsheridan1980 I have to guess, but there are a couple of possibilities that I can think of. Did the faction leader loose plenty of territory? In that case other nations are hesitant to join that faction. I would postpone Poland for the next big war with a stronger major, like the United States.
@@m3an mh - territory could be - Czech had in the runs lost some units due encirclements, south africa never joined the war and in one attempt even left the allies; today i tried a "lazy attempt" (ending war in june) and Poland was in. Any reason why you haven't started army innovation already after creating alliance with Yugoslavia (moves to -8 but back at 8 (9 required for albania) when war breaks out)? i am trying that currently out - due i think the 10 army points could speed up the 1 cav template and that can speed up recruitment for cav vietnam. That will delay advisors but i guess it could be worth it. Anyhow - many thanks :) i haven't played hoi for some months and your video dragged me in again ;)
The only DLC that is really helpful is Together for Victory. But afaik you don't even need that one if you instead do some more manual war goals. I do build an agency, but it's just a gimmick. You find out in the video if it paid off or not.
I would specifically choose to go back in April 45 and go "yeah bruv, you just needed to send a couple bombers over the Czech whilst sending an unopposed naval invasion of the Brits bruv. And why didn't you invade the Italians, Japanese and Americans? Pretty easy stuff"
It depends how you learn best. Some people like watching a ton of RU-vid tutorials, but personally I recommend to only do that for the stuff that you don't grasp after trying to understand it yourself. Everything in the game has extensive tooltips. Read those and look up everything that you need more info on in the Hoi4 wiki. The hoi4 subreddit is great to get questions answered as well. Ignore navy in the beginning and focus on understanding industry, production, combat, terrain, armies, generals and templates.
Tried this and was unable to form a faction with Yugo. I improved relations with Yugo, justified on US. WT was at 62% but the option to form a faction with Yugo was greyed out. Ver 1.11.11
Hi I don’t have any DLCs so don’t know if this is why but when I justify on the US tension takes ages to increase. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? Thanks
Does DLC affect the Yugoslavia options because as Germany I do not get the option to invite them into the faction unless they are 30% fascist and then when the option does appear they refuse by default.
It's an RNG event with 50/50 outcome. You cannot save scum the event. Its outcome is determined at game start. If you get the civil war, start a new save and try again.
@@user-tq7tk3nt1u The additional guarantees come with one of the DLCs. Probably Together for Victory, but I'm not 100% sure. And yes, when I say to restart or to start a new save, I mean to start a fresh szenario.
Dude, could pls try to do it on newest Blood Alone DLC as well? Cause it seems this one won't work as war tension is rising slowly after casus belli is started to US. :(
@@user-tq7tk3nt1u Oh don't worry. It still works, but it takes a bit longer to set up. I'll make a video about it eventually, but want to do some other stuff first.
It should still work overall. The only thing that does not work anymore is Anglospike. Or is there anything else that you had issues with? I will think about it. Thank you for the suggestion!
@@m3an the main problem is army xp in ethiopia... you have the choice to not grind enough or to delay everything and mess up the timing. Because of that, I haven't continued the run any further, which makes me unable to explain in depth all the difficulties new updates and dlcs may have caused. Thanks a lot for the quick response too (or even for having answered at all, which is quite rare of its own)
