Especially if they would have experienced what Capone did. Whew! It wouldn’t have been nice. But sometimes u gotta let go of the negative aspects & move forward. I vacationed in NYC for 17 years, 3 times a year planned around my favorite Comedians & Patty LaBelle performances. 6/20 & 9/20, my18th year NYC vacation was cancelled by Covid. In 2015, Capone made my birthday "awesome". My daughter, her husband, twin nieces, my sis & husband surprised me & were booked into my HGI hotel on 8th ave & 3 more showed up @ Capone's stand up. See Part 2.

Part 2) Capone brought 3 male &1 female comic. He was a big favorite of mine my twin nieces knew him. The rest of my family met & thoroughly enjoyed him. He gives a stand-up show in his former neighborhood @ a discount rate once a month. I admire how he honed his skills & earned his reputation as a hilarious Comedian, Capone is a genuinely good & generous man who has taken other comedians under his wing & helped them excel.

Gooner N4, well said! Now to kinda piggy back off of u... I like Steve Harvey, have seen him in concerts, watch his shows & USED to listen to him on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on the radio. I stopped listening due to his profound arrogance on that show. He talks over his co-host(Nephew Tommy, Shirley Strawberry etc.) & he does it in a way that just pisses me off! U dont have to constantly shout out ”this my show”, “Im the boss”, cutting his co-workers off & some callers when he feels the need to prove his point...like he’s pumping his chest like Tarzan to let it be known, he run it! Steve has created a great platform for himself & due to his work ethic & his relationships he’s created in Hollyweird he has made it possible for lots of black folk to earn a living etc. So I respect that ✊🏾! But what I can’t stand to witness is when people that become wealthy, start feeling themselves in such a way they feel untouchable & don’t realize their arrogance towards others. Money has a way of doing this to just average folks, so just imagine how one may feel when they become millionaires that started from the bottom. I can only imagine how the ego makes you cocky at times. But u gotta remain humble at ALL times because u never know how your actions may come back & bite u in the ass! I wish Steve all the best! I just have that issue with him on the radio that’s been bothering me for a min. & I guess this was an opportunity for me to speak on it. I also didn’t like how the conversation between him & Monique played out on his talk show. As a friend he should have spoke to her & expressed how he felt as opposed to going on air, on his radio show & expressing how he felt. I can only imagine her pain. And then to tell Monique its the money game & not the integrity game, kinda let me know he has probably thrown a lotta folks under the bus to reach his status. Sorry for the long post... just wanted to get that off my mind.

Like a Tyler Perry movie. He dogged her by using his money and power. He used to come on the radio show playing victim trying to get sympathy. As a whole he is just not a good person.
