We had to wake up very early for the hotel pickup at 4:00am and were taken to join everyone, before we left for the flight location we were given a self-service breakfast with an assortment of pastries, juices, and souvenirs..to take home as well.
When we arrived we got to see the balloons being filled up and the staff were very helpful and friendly as we got into the basket. The flight was simply breathtaking and we had two very fun and experienced pilots that would point out points of interest during the flight.
I'd say, this experience was absolutely magical. I was blown away by the skies! No filter Sunrise! The most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen in my whole life! The terrain and scenery, the fairy chimneys, the rose valley, is just incredible from this perspective, and the quantity of balloons in the sky actually increased the magic of it all. Flying like a bird would be miraculous, but flying with other birds, I imagine as a spiritual experience and that's how this felt.
This was our first time in a balloon and my only hesitation was the basket size. Do NOT let this scare you away. When they talk about the basket capacity, what I never read was that the basket is more like 8 or 9 smaller baskets or compartments. My hubby and I were in 1 with another couple, but I saw other families with 5 people in one, and as far as I could see, no one was cramped.
At the end we all celebrated with a glass
of champagne and a flight certificate🥂 😍
