You need to watch these movies in release order starting from Iron Man 2008. Also every movie has an end credit scene which are vital to watch

Emma, you have to watch the Marvel films in order of release, with their end credit scenes (some have two of them). Trust me, the emotional weight will hit you if you do!

Please please please watch Marvel movies in RELEASE ORDER. It's like chapters in a book where the story flows as it was meant to be told. With tidbits at the end (credit scenes) that tie to the next chapter/movie. It's best enjoyed this way.

26:06 The old man is Stan Lee - creator of Marvel Comics and of most of its biggest characters. If you continue to watch Marvel movies, you will see him make a short appearance in most of them, as a different character.

I believe the way Bucky talked to him that way is because there's a big theory out there that Bucky didn't enlist - he was drafted. The serial number of his dogtags starts with a 32, and from what I understand that means he's a drafted man from the New York area. It explains why he was so adamant on Steve not joining because he himself didn't want to join the war in the first place and given Steve's medical history... well, I don't think he had much hope his best friend would survive without the serum. So it's less him being selfish but more of him being scared and hiding it very well.

If you want to better understand the whole macro story that is the MCU, you should watch all the movies and series in order of release. Otherwise, you will miss some details and references that further enrich the story.

He definitely comes back and the story is great. You need to watch the other Marvel movies in order to get the full story they are all attached and they all formed a team. Some are definitely better then others but the overall world building of these movies (back then) was amazing.

Yes, definitely watch in release order instead. Bonus is that the first movie, Iron Man, is one of the best and funniest. (Captain America is good, and I love the character, but it pales compared to Iron Man).

My absolute favorite of the Marvel movies. I actually have a setting on my TV to watch this, where I try to make it look like a 1940s movie. That's how I watch the original Indiana Jones trilogy, O Brother Where Art Thou, and a couple of others.

That isn't absolutely required . . . . . she could easily go back after watching all the movies and watch Agents of Shield. That would be better anyway because AoS has spoilers and foreshadowing that would muck up the journey.

@@fullmoonprepping4024 as long as she watched 1 or 2 a week she wouldn't have problems with spoilers. Since 136 episodes take a while to watch shed have to start soon to be kept up to date with the newest stuff coming out over the next few years.
