I just realized how weird it must’ve been for Chris to see the completed version, because it look just like himself, but at the same time, it looks nothing like him. He’s seeing a version of himself that he’s never been.

dude imagine being the skinny double for chris! Copying his every movement, that must've been a lot of pressure (or not if you're really good at it). That was amazing!!!
So when they were filming skinny Steve, the actors would've had to stare at his chest while talking to him.. Must've been awkward for them and for him..
@@OdileOdile19 I know that but in this case i just think Steve's voice somehow really clashed with the smaller version. I didn't mean this in a derogatory way. I'm quite a small guy myself.
They did an amazing job with skinny Steve! I was blown away. At first I was like for 20 minutes in the movie... like did they find the lost skinny twin of Chris and hired him to do the before the serum shots? And still I can only spot someting is not real if I really force myself looking at the edges of his body, to find some suddle thing that is sligtly off. Mind = Blown
I knew, before seeing the film, that they had done some sort of digital effect to shrink Chris Evans down as "Skinny Steve". And sitting there in the theater, with the big screen and all, YOU COULD NOT TELL. The effect was FLAWLESS (even on repeated viewings). I think Kevin Feige must be correct, and it was the fact that several different techniques were used, and that keeps successfully fooling your eyes from shot to shot. Brilliant work.
This was the best origin-included movie ever made to date. It's origins segments were just as good as the rest of the production. They certainly did exemplary service to that character, showing he was a Hero as a scrawny young man to his penchant for aptly and efficiently negating or disabling an opponents primary weapon, power source or advantage.
Yea had a questionable death that made you a little suspicious if he is really dead. The way he dissapeared was quite a lot like how the bifrost teleports characters so you could probably guessesed he will return. Although I didn't expect him coming back in Infinity War.
I think it was pretty clear, even I hadn't read any comics but worked out tht red skull teleported to space so I thought he would be back. But it was a shock in infinity war because it was after so long I had practically forgotten.
This movie's 1st act will stand the test of time, the rest not so much. But that origin story was super well-done classic cinema writing and directing.

Imagine THE president of the very studio you work for, who is hands on and very passionate to the material, just strolling around with you, sipping coffee, watching carefully and guiding on what needs to be improve. WB/DC really needs a Feige, who REALLY understands the source material.
I love this movie it as it all. War, super hero's, love, courage. Friendship. As to why IMDB did a dirty and only gave this movie 6.9 when its clearly an 8 or 9 out of 10. It beats me.

my critiques with him as skinny steve are: 1. his head looks too big for his body 2. his voice is too deep 3. sometimes you can see the un-naturalness other than that, this is an amazing movie and one of my top favourites
I never realised chris Evan's was in the fantastic 4 , I actually googled to see if it was 2 actors in the movie after seeing it in the cinema and was stunned when I saw they had used cgi and also put his face on another body , first time it was done so well, changed movies forever now

When Steve jumped on the grenade, Peggy ran up before he landed. Was she going to jump on it? Or did she know it was a fake, in that case why did she run up. I have a head canon that she was gonna jump.
i am from denmark but i think that steve aka Chris is pretty cool i think its cool that you have done all that for a movie i was so happy that day i looked at the movie for the first time Chris evans aka steve aka captain America i thinked that i will make the sheald and the mask. if you now the pj masks i had meked the gekko mask to captain America. and thats cool that falcon are being you now who:) yaaaaaaaaaa
