To be one of the dancers around Michael was the easiest job in the world, because no one looked at you but only at Michael 😅 he was incredible, the best entertainer ever lived. We are lucky to have lived the time Michael Jackson was alive
Although no one else would be watching you... the one who WOULD be looking at you would be MICHAEL, of all people! 😅 perfecting his craft & making sure it matched his artistic vision as accurately as possible!
"We are here to change the world" is the second time when Michael used choirs to sing his background vocals for his anthem songs that he became famous for 😊
he didn't start the treatment exactly until the 90s, he still looked a bit dark from time to time in the 80s, he just started wearing the lighter shade of makeup full body in the Bad era.
@@AladeenMusic I'm guessing he started experimenting with different shades of make-up at the end of the Victory Tour. Michael was dark brown until late in the Victory Tour.
@@limegreensharpays Insecure about Prince? 🤣 WTF are you talking about fool? You're projecting. You're offended because you think mjs ghoul face was perfection?🤣
Man mike was...... something else honestly. It's crazy that he has done so much but so much things and never flexed with nothing, special effect, robots stuff, magic stuff, movie stuff, record breaking stuff and back then it must have been HUGE and today's artist can't even compete and yet they "seem" absolutely amazing for some!
Don't forget he started performing at age 3 so he had 47 years of a performance portfolio. If he was still alive, he'd have another 20 years of a jail portfolio 😂😮
I absolutely love Janet and Michael’s relationship. Rather than immediately going ahead and working on choreography on “Rhythm Nation”, stealing MJ’s ideas, she called him and asked him. How humble and sweet :)
I don't think she really called him. MJ and Janet were very competitive, and he started taking notice of her success after "Control" was released. After the record-breaking success of "Rhythm Nation", he could see that she was giving him a run for his money. When he recorded this video talking about her stealing it, she was topping the charts and his sales were declining. That was a shady move on MJ's part to say that about his sister.

It's so funny how much Michael tried his best to get away from the trademark Afro look as the 1980s rolled on. But once he started sweating in this rehearsal, that Jhericurl reverted back to true form! Hahahahaha! The Afro came BACK!! Thank God for Michael Jackson. Thank God for Joe & Katherine Jackson. Thank God for the entire Jackson Family. So glad they decided to showcase themselves to the world. Our lives have been made richer because of their presence.
No the jheri curl is a perm. So it's permanent. It doesn't go back to an afro after he sweats. The end of his hair was permed and his new afro hair was growing. You need to have a few inches of new hair before perm the section of new hair.
@@philcanselmo9436 You know what I meant. I just thought it was funny that you could see the Afro coming back in this time period. Mid-1980s Michael Jackson & Afro only existed on the music charts of Jet Magazine. Hahahahaha! Jet kept using that outdated 1978 pic of Michael with the giant Afro well past Michael's changes in his look.
This is amazing footage. Note that the first clip of him practicing choreography in the white shirt is possibly the only footage ever released of Michael not wearing make up to cover/even the discoloration on his face, hence he has patches on his face in different colours.
Michael Jackson was a genius and creative, he gave so much imperfection with his ideas, he knew how to master it all. he will always be missed, we all love you MJ forever, you'll always be in our hearts.
@@philcanselmo9436before he wore hair extensions because his bald spot got bigger and wider and it made it harder for him to dance without it coming off until the hair clips got more advanced in the mid to late 90s
@@TheKonga88 Whether you like him or not the history and records he broke along with racial barriers changed the world. I know of no other Black American Pop artist more known, celebrated and loved around the world than Michael Jackson. Anytime you can have someone who doesn’t understand your language, or custom but can groove to and dance to the same beat as, know the lyrics to the song and in a country where it’s custom for people to sit through a show, they are up dancing the same as you I’d definitely say that’s someone in his own way who changed the world. He hated music having labels, so he worked to make it Universal and that’s what he did, so yeah he changed the world.
As we see he put in the work. It wasn't by chance. Michael put in the work. Look at all those trained Dancers . They couldn't keep up. You see have to realize that Michael has been training his body as a child for so long. Because of his adept prowess in the area of DANCE, he was able to express more natural than typical dancers. A lot of the dancers has learned that technique of expressing yourself today. They don't look so technical. That was the awesomeness of Michael Jackson's indelible contribution to Dance. His music is his voice. People always say his music. The music was his unique voice expressed to sound. That was the music we heard. When Michael would sing a melody ,its like the heavens were engaging with our souls. I remember studying his Off The Wall album back in 1980. I used to sit there and listen to all of the nuances . I was enthralled by the production and the awesomeness of Michael Jackson way before Thriller dominated his and changed the world of music as we know it. His genius was expressing himself honestly. There was no trick to it. It was him being himself for the world to see. That's what was captivating way before all the charade started manifesting for the media circus. He was clearly crystal a PHENOM!!! Rest Easy Michael.
@@MichaelJacksonHighQuality If you're Michael hi !!!!!!! Bless you ❤️ If you're not Mike and someone else that has documented this hi and bless you too
Michael rehearsing in this first video is extremely strange, it doesn't look the same as in Bad, nor in We Are The World, and much less the same as the one who received the Grammy for We Are The World in early 1986. It looks more like MJ from Thrumph, and very little. What madness!
People xant unstand why i only listen to his music any more its motivated love peace joy happiness togetherness If we attract what we are the question would be why wouldn't i only listen to his music I thought the answer was obvious The only thing i want in my life to attract to me is peace love and happiness and repetition is the 🔑
Does anyone else feel like MJ's (and the extras') dancing in this rehearsal-especially the first part, in the first 30 seconds of it-was actually *more* impressive than the 'ography in the actual Captain EO music video from Disney World? 🤔
Honestly the more i watch him, the more you see the God given speed. Michael Jackson made smooth movements explosive. To this day the pelvic thrusts and kicks would make the average person pull a muscle. That guy was an athlete and skilled dancer. Most of his dancers were great but they didn't have that speed.
I get what you're saying the song almost didn't make it on the Bad album because of a song called streetwalker but at the last minute it was added because of Frank Delio Michael's manager suggested it I was really hoping for both the songs from Captain EO to be on the Bad album
NG in Japanese means No Good for TV or when shooting a film Lol, you can see these clips also from the behind the scenes of Captain E. O. with Whoopi Goldberg hosting that documentary with more behind the scenes clips.😅
Michael Jackson estava a frente sempre! Se estivesse vivo teria se entregado a produções, creio que seria tão grande como foi como artista! Poxa que saudades
FUNFACT IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT THERE TO THE NAKED EYE. HE WAS TURLY AMAZING IT MUST HAVE TAKEN A BIG TOLL ON HIM AT TIMES 2 NOT 2 BE ABLE 2 WALK AROUND LIKE AN NORMAL PERSON. THAT'S WHY HE COVERED HIS KIDS UP LIKE HE DID. I CAN TOTALLY RELATE IAM SURE THAT SOME TIME HE PROBABLY ENJOYED THE HIGH OF HEARING THE LOV E AS WELL AS THE CALLING OF HIS NAME. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE WORLD LOVES YOU. MISS HIM SO MUCH RIP.😉😘😇💕💕💕💕😇💕💕💕
@@MichaelJacksonHighQuality I was wondering cause I knew John Barnes, Matt Forger, we're the B Team Jackson would work with during the early Bad sessions.
