Yes it will hurt and thats why you must continue using it ....the day 1 of gym always hurts.. take rest between reps and start slow and than increase the reps....happy exercising

Don't give up bro! •Take a rest for a couple of days, until it stops hurting, and then try again. I'm sure it'll not hurt the next time you do it. •Don't do too much at once. Do it for, like, 50-60 reps each hands with your comfortable weight setting. And gradually increase the weight as you get stronger. Eventually after some time you'll feel like this gripper is too easy for you lol You've got it bro, keep going!
