@@codyferrell1031 take a look at some clips of Brian Habana, he has a ton of speed and tackles hard too. Butch James was always controversial as a big hitter and good all round player. Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira was also fun to watch and has mad strength. Cheslin Kolbe is twinkle toes extraordinaire. The list is not exhaustive but will get you started. Springboks are the best team to follow because when fired up they bring that passion that is the essential ingredient to making sports memorable. They're also current world Champs.
I am a white Saffa who has followed SA rugby for 50 years. I don't understand why some of my fellow whites cannot or will not recognise just how good a No. 6 and captain he is. I am sorry for that. Captain, my captain.
Siya Kolisi Rugby Captain Hero Peace and Humble.Oh Such Awsome Young Inspiration Man.GOD BLESS Siya Kolisi His Parents Wife Kids and Family.Thank u Siya Kolisi for Putting South Africa On World Map for Winning World Cup and Unite South Africans. What ever Happend in Past Challenges give Victory .Well Done to Schools and Teachers and All involved in Siya Kolisi Life.
@G P 😂😂you are probably right, because I may need watch more of this video of our beloved captain just like you've been repeatedly watching it. You are one loyal supporter.
This man is a commanding attribute and a rugby bird of his generation and he Is definetly on mcaws level but not more experienced than richie mcaw but he is getting there
Personally I don`t think he is SA`s first choice 6 but he is good enough and nobody can argue with me when I say he is a great captain and leader because he can keep his players calm and he listen to others opinions on the field and make great decisions
I think his injury held him back a little during RWC, it seems he was more explosive before that. I missed most of it before due to work, but this video highlights what I missed.
@@chris5240 I also think his injury held him back just look at 1:40 thats the kind of play that is his best If he had played like that the whole rwc with his steps and offloads he would have been our first choice 6
I think his injury was to blame for not being at his best...but his captaincy kept him in. It allowed the other players to shine without the pressure of being "The Captain". It's a burden not all can carry well.
Don't like him as a captain. We all (really!) know he was a political appointment. He sure as shirt doesn't inspire me on his own. The Boks would have won regardless of him. Average flanker. This was all about political demographics.
I mean from a purely rugby perspective he is right, you have to say. Vermeulen would of been the stand out selection as captain and Flo Louw, Coetzee and even Jaco Kriel are arguably better as an openside, but Kolisi's had an inspirational impact and is certainly good enough to be in the team/squad. (just not the best option).
The unseen work is what he specialises in and if you listen to him his personality is selfless he was talking about other people not himself and his hard time he in my opinion is up there for the best 6 in the world
