The anime cut this line for some reason, but Bazz B actually tells Hitsugaya that the reason he, As Nodt, and NaNaNa survived getting blasted by Yamamotos flames in Episode 6 of season 1 is because his flames are actually hot enough to offset Yamas.
For sure! like them saying it's going be the "slowest" cour out of all four is CRAZY! lol Cour 1 was "slow" at times because it was more story focused then just fighting because let's be real the the only "fight" that we had was the Yamamoto VS Yhwach and the short Ichigo VS Yhwach. The other ones were cool but nothing crazy.
@@AAAAThatsThreeAs Cour 4 is going to be absolutely insane, with the final fight and the big fights with Askin, Gerard and Pernida. Based on this timing, it's just going to be 13 episodes of absolute carnage.
In the original manga, BG9 succeeds in skewering her and lifts her body into the air. I think they wanted to recharacterize Omaeda as having changed since the Fake Karakura Town arc. Here's hoping he tries to help Soi Fon in the next episode or so.
In terms of powerscaling: Sternritters using their Schrift are stronger than Captains. Once a captain pulls out a bankai, they're evenly matched or slightly weaker than Captains. Once a sternritter does what Quilge did and pulls out a Voll Stern Dich, they're more powerful than a Captain using Bankai.
[Tidbits & Clarifications][Lotta reading again my bad] - Not everyone thinks about it but Shunko has unique elemental properties linked to the user, this is why Yoruichi's Shunko is Lighting whereas Soi-fon's Shunko is Wind. So it's possible that Characters may exist that have either Water or Fire Shunko. - The Blue and Red will only be a thing as long as the dome is up, which I can confirm wont be the entire remainder of the show. - We get the confirmation of where the Quincy went and hid for 1000 years. We assume that this shadow world is a place that alters aging in some way which makes sense given it's in the shadows of the Soul Society. This is how Quincy who are Human are able to still be young and alive despite hundreds of years passing. - The Ice clone is a Bankai ability If I recall (Tho I could be misremembering) - Im sure others will have commented it, but a manga scene was removed here that explains how Bazz B and 2 other sternritter survived that explosion when they tried to ambush Yamamotot, basically Bazz B's fire is strong enough to offset Yama's flame to a degree, meaning he's a pretty significant threat. - Nanao creating such a unique and powerful Kido in such a short time is a good showing of just how capable she actually is. Shunsui is one of the Strongest Captains, so it's good to see this his Lieutenant has the chops for the position. - The scene where Omeada is confronted by BG9 (The Robotic Quincy) is slightly different in the manga, his sister gets gruesomely impaled, but here Omeada takes the Hit. - "9th Head of the Fon Clan" is a slightly important line, many Bleach fans either forget or aren't aware the Lesser Noble Families exist and that Nobility in Soul Society means you have a higher potential. - As ya'll noted Toshiro is able to seal his wound with Ice, this fight showed us how much more versatile his abilities could have been all along, from setting traps to creating smokescreens. Them losing Bankai kinda revealed how much more potential they could have. - Quincies aren't really breaking the power scale it's more so that they came prepared where as the Shinigami aren't at all. The Quincy have trained and evolved over 1000 years, they also stole Bankai, and they are in the Soul Society where they have unlimited access to Reishi which isn't usually the case. This isn't a battle being won by power it's being won by strategy. - This is Just a Personal thought but the added ending scene had a very uneasy vibe to it and Ichibei had a tone that was pretty sinister in my opinion, that mixed with Shunsui not trusting him is interesting. - We know from Leakers that there are 3 Particular Episodes this season that will have GREAT! animation and production, and despite this not being one of them it's still looks very good, so just imagine the great ones. The Quincies prepared for a thousand years. Made that bankai stealing thing because it'll give them that advantage. Then we have Haschwalth (blond Sternritter) telling his comrades to destroy the remaining hope they have. Toshiro and Soifon's remaining hope was that they were training to compensate for the loss of their bankais. Sure Soifon's isn't that fitting per se, but you can see her growth that she's willing to use it, probably also figured how to use it better too. Respect to the two captains who still went out despite their disadvantages, but the loss of their bankais is still heavy. Next ep will be lit, as a manga reader, I'm really excited
