Great chorus, great singing, and oh my fucking god, the screams are spectacular! Love it love it LOVE IT!!! Christ, these guys turned shit around from being one of the worst metalcore bands in history to being one of the dark horses in the metalcore genre. Props to CTC for their sound change because it fucking kicks ass. Can't wait to hear more from you guys! :D

YouKnowItsFunny UK well it may sound the same, but they didn't "copy" them because they both were recording/composing the whole record at the same time being at the studio. So it maybe a coincidence because they couldn't have possibly listened to each other's tracks.
They are all friends so i'm sure it's not even that big of a deal.. It's not cool if they intentionally did it but both are good bands. Plus that breakdown is gold so it's all good hahah.

I actually love this band I have loved them through every album they released so it doesn't matter to me how they sounded before because I loved them back then
Definitely a strong metalcore album for this year, but have you heard I Killed The Prom Queen and Architects' new albums? You might not like them, but I sure think that those will be hard to top.
I listened to them only once, i will check out their albums :) yeah Reign Of Terror will be a strong and nice metalcore album but not the best, i listen a lot of bands like adept, feed her to the sharks, forget tomorrow, leave me here and some some others.
StarMike41 I've heard of Adept, but I never heard of any of the other ones. Perhaps I'll give them a try later on. I listen to a lot of metalcore bands that you've probably heard of which are Asking Alexandria, We Came As Romans, Parkway Drive, Of Mice & Men, Bring Me The Horizon, etc. However, I'll always keep an open mind to some obscure metalcore bands.
havoren Yes i listen to all of these bands, i recommend you to listen 'Death Dealers' album by Adept and 'Savage Seas' album by Feed Her To The Sharks, they're so strong.
StarMike41 Sure thing! And if you haven't yet, check out the album "Below The Noise" by City In The Sea. Great album and Ben Bruce from AA is featured in a couple songs too. And Like Moths To Flames is a great band as well, you should give them a listen if you haven't yet.
the chorus seems similar to bloodline by crown the empire but good song and im liking the new stuff much more mature then the previous albums ( but they were still good)

Glad to see these guys changing it up and attempting to finally have their own style. It just sucks that it's all recycled style and material from bands before them. These guys have a ton of talent just waiting to be used.
And after thinking about it, I don't see why Capture The Crown can't be in the Top 5 Best Metalcore albums of 2014 along with I Killed The Prom Queen and Architects.

Yeah 2:30 is Most definitely Alex Koehler because the lows and the highs do not even sound at all similar to Jeff's. Jeff's lows are not guttural like Alex's.
I use to not really like the vocals the singer has, the screams and everything just didn't suit my ears. But over the months I kept listening to song after song, seeing if I could grow accustomed to it...and I am glad I did. I fucking love the vocals now, I love the band, and I love the feeling it gives!
