Something about the Engineer being the only “normal” looking character (excluding his jumpscare) compared to the other more mutated mercenaries is really off-putting to me

The floating Engineer slowly goes insane as Spy uses his Cloak and Dagger to spam "Place a Dispenser here" voice lines around him while completely invisible.
