This second part of Capturing The Last of the Autumn in the Creuse sees me returning back to the Creuse.
The week before my car decided to give up the ghost with the back brakes which forced me into having to get the car fixed in the area.
During the first trip I met a local who told me about a couple of different places to go to which I didn't know about. So as I was in the area it seemed daft not to go and check them out.

There’s definitely potential there but it’ll have to wait. The cold temperatures have taken off most of the leaves now.

Nice waterfall on the brook Any brook trout? Small popular waterfalls that I've seen include Cedar Falls in the Hocking Hills, Ohio. Katahdin Falls on the west side of Mt. Katahdin, Maine(not the province), and Cooper Brook falls between WhiteCap Mountain and Katahdin.

It was a really nice waterfall. You don't get too many like it in France. Not sure about fish though :)

Liked the fisrt mill image, would it convert to B&W I know it has autumn colour, but I have shot the autumn colour in B&W and it sort off works.

Morning Dave. I think that mill definitely has potential. I suspect you're right in that it would be good in black and white. Certainly the mill is gritty enough. I'm just a sucker for the colour in images.

Very nice presentation Julian Would like to know your thoughts on the Benro 3 way gear head? I have been using the same geared head for 12 months now and i don’t think I will return to using the ball head. Thank you for bringing this to us. Cheers

Thanks for the comments! My thoughts on the Benro head are that it is a very solid piece of kit. Mine have been to many many countries with me without failure. Packed in suitcases and the back of cars/ trucks yet they are still working as they should. The other day they sent me a ball head as I needed one to do some astro photography. The geared head isn't good as the secondary head on a star tracker. But the ball head I find too imprecise. It's good just for the tracker but I personally wouldn't use one in everyday use.

@@JulianElliottPhotography Thanks Julian.It is a good pice of kit.I have followed your channel for sometime now and enjoy your style of presenting.I know how hard it is to combine the photography with making these videos.My channel is all about teaching photography out in the field with the key emphasis on trying to get it right in camera. I do know that a lot of people don't like to hear the realities but it's good to know you've stuck with me. It's really appreciated!!!
