What a beautiful barn, very different than our style of barns over here. And that rock wall makes it quintessential English. Love all the photos but I thought including the tree really made the composition! Nice touch sticking around until the moon rose above it. Really enjoyed seeing this location. Great video Andrew, hope you are doing well!

Thanks for watching Paul. The probable reason for the stone buildings was they had cleared the fields of the rocks and they had to put them some ware. Also they'd burnt most of the wood. I liked the tree photo best in hindsight it had the benefit of maximum colour lighting. Have a great weekend😁

Excellent Andrew. Proving that patience is truly a virtue. Most of us would have given up and gone home, or not gone out at all! Nice to have some drone shots too, thank you!

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. Looks like your having a binge watch tonight. I did think of leaving but then I thought where was I going to go. So I stayed to the bitter end. It did get rather cool. 🥶😂

Very Nice Love Photographing Old Stone Barns Castles What's Your Normal White --Balance Setting Andrew
@andrewfindlayphoto

Thanks Martin. Usually I set the white balance at 5500K which is sort of the daylight (sometimes there is a difference in the tint values) setting. I may alter it in processing but not in this video. It's a good reminder to what attracted me to the lighting at the time.
