There isn't a single good argument in favour of the law. From a logistical standpoint, it's bad for our public sector. From an institutional perspective, it's a dangerous form of legislative erosion with how it amended Quebec's Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. From a social perspective, it drives division both provincially and federally. From a personal freedom perspective, it's obviously regressive. From a secular perspective, it socially stigmatises and isolates believers which can result in their entrenchment of their beliefs and impedes the secularisation of their communities. From a Nationalist perspective, it's a form of cultural revisionism emulating modern day France in certain aspects instead of developing and growing upon our National Identity to stand on its own.

I don't *hate* CAQ like alot of English speakers, sometimes I toss around in my mind actually voting for them, but this is the one thing I just find indefensible. It was the deal with the devil that got them in government.

What is our national identity? Trudeau says we don't have an identity. At least, Quebecers have an identity, their own, not the world's! Or do you have a better answer?Imposition of foreign values is not freedom of speech or expression, it is a form of provocation. Please avoid from labelling me.
