This video will show you how to Repair and Disassemble an Air Conditioner Servo Motor that controls the Air vent Modes of your vehicle's Automatic A.C. System.
Excellent help thanks! Plastic clips snapped off when pulling appart but you can very easily tap an M4 thread into the four unused holes on the long side in the casing and use screws to reassemble. Almost looks like thats why the holes are there!
What is year and make of car. I have 1999 Camry and the a/C door actuator is supposed to be driver's side, unlike other model years which are on passenger side. I simply do not see posts or videos about how to find it on this gen4Camry
Which servo motor controls the air direction? My 2002 4runner is stuck on torso, will not move to defrost, etc. There are no clicking noises and it selects from heat to ac.
Very insightful video man. My car has a 45 seconds delayed HVAC start. The ‘Auto’ mode is lit for the whole 45s but no HVAC control works. Could it be the lower servo?
The same as I have. AC delays when start up for 45 second. This arose after replacing rear AC and amplifier (both are used parts not new). These codes appeared: B1447 Air mix damper control servo motor circut (Rear) B1443 Air outlet damper control servo motor circut. Could you help me?
@@bujabal76 Hey, in my case it was the mechanic's fault who put the servo motor back after cleaning the evaporator. I believe the car's ecu checks for the whole 45 seconds why the problem is occuring and then finally bypasses the checking process to run the AC. I took my car to Toyota and the technician told me that the mechanic who worked on my car did not align the gears of the servo motor with the flaps's arm. After the Toyota technician did what he had to, the problem is gone. The AC starts right up. Also, the servo motors on Toyotas are made by Desno and so they do not fail that easily. I would advise you to check whether your servo works when you switch from Recirculation mode to fresh air mode. Try to listen to a flap opening when you do so. You will feel a sudden decrease in air flow through the vents as well. If you hear a noise but with the flap not opening, you have probably been affected by the same problem I had. Take the motor out, dissassmble it and clean the interior of the housing keeping in mind the position of the gears and motor polarity. Check it this works. If not, then you might need a new servo motor. I wish you good luck, friend. h
@@sauravparashar8016 Thank you for the explaining this clearly. I have done as you said but no noise coming from the dash. I doubt the technician has missed to put back some wires for the servo motor when he was checking for the issue that caused the AC to failure. It was a bad amplifier
@@sauravparashar8016 Thank you for your contribution. My vehicle had a 45 sec delay before the AC system starts up. Following your guide, I took the vehicle back to the technician and he was able to align the gears of the servo motor with the flap's arm. AC system now ready for operation immediately the vehicle lights up. Grateful.
Could a bad ac servo motor affect air flow? My car has low air flow on full blast and idk what it could be. New air and cabin filter, no clogs anywhere i can reach, not sure what else i can do. The fan sounds fine too
Nope, servo just controls the direction of the airflow through tunnels, Like it acts as a valve to opening, closing, and changing the flow direction. Maybe your evaporator inlet is blocked (Outside Air Inlet).
@@sauravparashar8016 if your car is newer Lexus should have sent you a letter in the mail for servo motor going bad too soon, and will repay the xost it takes to fix it. I would reach out to Lexus dealership and see if your car qualifies
It was lubricated using silicone grease. No need to lubricate it with too much of dielectric grease that's why I wiped it out the excessive. Thank you for the comment.
Contact no.send kar do bhai Mere pass innova 2.5 v top model hai Ac ko chalu hai per Auto system nahi chal raha hai or link problem bhi malum nahi per ri hai kuch bataya Yh contact no. Send karo do plazzz
