Old school MB Quart Reference series. 6.5 woofer titanium dome tweeter. Made in Germany. Beets my JL. etc. Sundown 8 inch subs integrate perfectly in the low end. Crossed at 80 hertz.
The specs are good , 75watts rms, and a nice passive crossover. Silk tweeter as well. 90db sens they should be pretty ballsy. The price is about right for the setup. I've paid 400 for just a pair of mid bass drivers ( The audio dynamic 5000series 6.5s) great drivers btw. Bur yea the c3s should do you well
I'm currently running a mix of the DD A series mid/tweet with the DD VO-m6.5. I love that combo. The 6.5 has enough grunt to handle the midbass needed to keep up with my 9518, while the vocals and detail is handled by the A series.
@@blakebrockhaus347 Ok yea, now that I can see. more thump and loudness with PA midbass with more sensitive midrange/tweeters. The example in the video shows a combo of both PA and SQ midbass drivers.
agreed that small light mids really pump out the guitar, but power needed depends on the driver efficiency. Its all about matching the Power to the driver and matching those to the Job you're wanting to do. for example a 400hp honda civic would be a good match for a 600hp Ford F150. where as a 1000hp civic would be fun no doubt but would be way over powered for grandmas church car.
NO! I bought them, and I regret it. Not even worth my time installing them. Please, for your own sake, just buy something a bit better so that it's actually worth the effort of installing and it actually sounds better. CT sounds, Dayton audio, DS18, Deaf Bonce, are all good options. Please trust me on this one. I'm a Skar fan, but their midrange and mid-bass drivers suck. They have decent tweeters though.
