Hello fellow car camper! Wickenburg is one of my favourite towns in Arizona. Living on the wet west coast of BC, I appreciate the beauty of the desert as it is so different from home.
Fellow female solo car nomad. I am in Payson, AZ heading to Mogollin Rim and Canyon deChelley. 1st time viewer, too. I'm subscribing to support you. ❤ Good luck
Hi Elizabeth 👋 Thanks for being here! I've yet to visit any of those places, there's so much to see in AZ, no matter how many times I go, I always want to return and see more!
I've driven thru Wickenburg en route to Prescott and hiked The Hot Shots Firefighters Memorial. Very somber hike and I'm fortunate to be able to experience that. I like the salad for breakfast lol
Yeah, someone said that as well... is my voice to quiet? Music too loud? What's going on? For these trip videos it's gonna kind of be what it is, but I'm researching what mic to get to help my voice come through clearer on future videos. Thanks for the helpful feedback!
I thought I was the only one with post-migraine cravings for Taco Bell. LOL. I've found that if I skip a meal, and/or get dehydrated, a migraine will ensue.
Lol I was wondering if the Taco Bell was what contributed to the migraine. I think I probably got dehydrated as well, plus I found night driving in cities can bring it on. My eyes get sensitive to the bright headlights.
It very well may have. I keep a food journal, and have noticed that fast food, pizza and Chinese food are all definite triggers. Bright lights and pungent smells can also be contributing factors, (for me anyway). Do you take anything when they occur? I take an Elitriptan at the onset of the aura. I've found that it cuts the pain down significantly. @@invictaland1983
I know! That crap is just that, crap! I learned to spring for Chipotle whenever possible as the trip wore on. Even that isn't quite as filling as a nice home-cooked meal though.
It is hard to eat right all the time you think you want a treat and then you pay for it not feeling good. Be careful out there you need to stay at the top of your game for your safety
