I've noticed on most of your nature trails you are always alone!?! Lucky or just great planning??? ;) I think this is your best nature trail video yet!
My grandparents lived on Petit Jean when I was growing up, so it has a special place in my heart. As a Little Rock native, it's been a big part of my life.
Hi, sweet Christine, if I may call you that. Hope all is well. You travel to so many beautiful places. Thank you for sharing your time and experiences. I have a feeling that you are a great person to hang out with, very pleasant, respectful, and fun to be around. Whatever you do, wherever you go, always prioritize your safety, your health, and your happiness! Everything else is manageable! I look forward to your next video. Pops
What a great video! We’ve traveled from Texas to Petit Jean State Park several times and thoroughly enjoyed RV camping and hiking there. Arkansas is a beautiful state. We usually make an annual trip to Bull Shoals Lake and the White River for trout fishing. Our families are from the area so it’s always been like going home in a sense. Thanks for taking us along and may God bless!
Do you carry a bag or anything, and put it down when filming? When I go on a trail, I always want water and bear spray and other little things. You're a brave girl! ☺️ Love all your posts!
Thanks so much for this video. I travel in the winter and this past winter I traveled to a couple of the locations you had visited in your videos. My favorites were the redwood forest and Antelope Island State Park in Utah. One of these years I may have to venture over to Arkansas. There’s something comforting about traveling to a location that seems familiar, even if it’s from a video. You do a great job representing the places that you visit.
My husband and I stayed at the lodge a number of years ago. We had the most beautiful view of fog that had settled in the valley outside the restaurant windows. We’ve wanted to go back so maybe we will when the remodel is complete.
Beautiful area! Nice that it seemed like it wasn't too crowded. Always good to spend time out in nature, recharges me. Very enjoyable video, as always.😁 One handed egg cracking.. wow.. I seem to always get shells even when using two hands.. ha, ha.
Welcome to Arkansas and beautiful Petit Jean. I have lived in Arkansas most of my life and love it here. There is so much to see and do. Hope you can stay awhile and explore more of the beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes!
Arkansa is such a beautiful state!! Thanks for taking us along. I recently went to Hot Spring National Park, and was BLOWN away!! If you haven’t gone, you should visit! Hot Spring, Arkansa is a cute little town. ❤
Wow Christine !My husband and I have been following your channel for about a year 😊 Weren’t we surprised when we see you post a video in our backyard !! We live at the “southern foot” of Petit Jean. My husband pretty much grew up on the mountain. He said you did an excellent tour. We love your channel and look forward to following your adventures. Stay safe !
I didn't know how beautiful Arkansas is. I will definitely visit there if I'm in that part of the country again. I love your narration of your journey. It's very interesting.
I stumbled upon your video by pure chance I guess but I live in Arkansas and it is a beautiful state with so many places to camp, such amazing rivers, bluffs, and parks. My husband and I camped at a lot of beautiful places before he got dementia and we had to stop camping. I am glad you got to experience just a small part of our state and I hope you will come back because you only saw a small portion of it. As a woman I hope you are careful traveling alone and praying you stay safe. God Bless!
They rent out caves out in Eureka Springs. I want to visit that town so badly. The town was built in limestone, has a great history to it. It looks like an old witch town. Plus they rent out caves and really decked out cabins! Just a bucket list for me. Hope youre safe, happy, and well!
Good job, those pictographs are kind of hard to spot! I just have to say. You make such wholesome content, kinda rare, but special. My wife and I have been married for 46 years, and counting, and we are still hiking strong all over Arkansas, the US and the world.
Euphonic creations LLC, here on RU-vid. Its called All the Things hosted by Patrick W Dockett. Im a big fan:) watch all your videos... By the end of the year, ill be starting van life myself 😁
It's a great little park. But only a tiny part of Arkansas wilderness wonder. Visit the Buffalo National River area, if you haven't. We have a cabin up there, and it's equally awesome. Oh, and there isn't a particular Bear Cave. It's just the whole rock formation, not an actual cave. Love your work!
My hubby & I explored parts of Arkansas 6 yrs ago before he passed away & it was fantastic. Loved to 'revisit' your take on the beautiful nature in that state. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Christine, we've been following u since you've had around 3k subscribers. Like the other people who comment, we love your positive outlook and authenticity. U r stuck at 35k subscribers. We follow other RU-vid travel channels and what I believe captured us is them sharing their daily lives and struggles. It's not like a travel video or the end destination but the journey as well. Check out Ryan Twomey. Really an almost 2 day,but u get to know him.Eva Zubek... she's a bit extreme but she shares the nitty gritty of her journey. Linea and Akilka. They all share their journey of what and how they got there...no offense not a travel channel. You have that!, take the next step. You've got this!!!
I just discovered you and my day blew by binging your channel starting with your Wyoming, Utah and Nevada videos. Salt Lake City is my home and you showed my old Elk Hunt stomping grounds near Flaming Gorge as well as where I've spent many hours working near Great Salt Lake State Park. Coincidentally, on a break I drove to that Black Rock sign to read it just a couple of weeks ago. I've lived here for most of my life (I've also lived in England and Michigan) yet you did things here that I have never done. Despite having driven to Wendover hundreds of times I've never pulled over and walked or driven on the Salt Flat nor have I camped on Antelope Island. I have floated on the Salt Lake but not since I was a kid. I love it here! If you get back to this neck of the woods I highly recommend the Moab area and Southern Utah. We have FIVE National Parks (Zion's, Bryce, Arches, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands) and dozens of National Monuments. Then you'd be in range also of The Grand Canyon in Northern AZ, Mesa Verde in Eastern CO and Hoover Dam in Southern NV.
Hi, what happened to your Ford van ? Just watched the video where you were showing the van build which was posted a year ago. That was a great built which I thought you would keep it for perhaps a few years or at least longer than you did !!! Did you find someone with an offer you couldn't refuse ? Thanks.
I normally don’t comment on videos and make suggestions. You seem very nice and a beautiful person. I hope that you are going to get another dog soon. They are great companions. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Your bio really resonated with me. I’m a lot older than you, 53 now, and when I was around 49 I left the corporate world too; the conventional working world. It wasn’t easy and it still isn’t at times, but I didn’t want to waste any more of my life and was suffering serious illness due at least in part to my work. Travel, stress, poor fit, on and on….i hit a breaking point. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s inspiring and admirable that you had the wisdom to make some hard decisions and follow your heart. We only love one life and I, we don’t want to regret it and wast the opportunity to grab it with both hands and do something that speaks to our hearts. I’m rooting for you and for me :-) - love following your journey. Come to Laguna Beach some day. ❤️🙏😎
You are so bubbly and beautiful. I love going with you on your adventures. Maybe we’ll cross paths one day and go on an adventure together (as I travel too 100% of the time).
Arkansas is so beautiful Christine I never seen anything like it ❤ P.S Christine can you help me on finding a cure for my red bumps for my facial beard because I shave every 4 days and the red bumps are bothering me and I use after shave but it doesn’t work so I was wondering if you know a cure thanks ❤
