Installation
1.Wipe off the stains, dust and oil at the installation with a dry cloth
2.Peel the 3M protective film at one end of the seal strip in the exact position
3.After the paste is finished, press the seal firmly
4.Prohibit the car wash within 3 days, within 24 hours try not to open the door repeatedly

hey brother my question is how about all these seals adessive , i mean its ok for long time or some people says that after 2 or 3 months its adhesiveness get off and its useless then , like after 4 , 5 washing its adhesiveness didn't work ? plz answer me becuase i also want to fix this on my dzire car. thanks in advance.

Yes these rubber seals can install on any car. For more expensive cars these comes factory fitted. , buy big d instead of small d, just measure the length of door for each p ,z and big d rubber seals and buy.i think i20 comes with p type on door already .

Install p type and cover complete door. Z type should be in front and top of diggy. I installed at mine. Works great now

Hai, It's better to buy big D as the pannel gaps are bigger in duster.

Water will get out easily no problems I faced, it will prvent water , dirt accumulates on door sills.

In Brazil Kwid costs around 6.5 Lakhs base model in India base model stars at 2.6 lakh , that's the difference , In Brazil Kwid got 4 airbags ,abs +EBD and fatter tyres ,better seats and many, these features are not even available in many our best selling cars, but if Renault launched Kwid with these features with starting price of 4 or 5 lakh it is 100% sure that it will be a big flop..

B type is too big for kwid, I have no issues .. small d or big d is ideal..

Hey, to sum it up, you use p type for the bottom of the doors, z type for front side of front doors, and d type for others (upper side, back side, and front side of back door), is that correct? And why do we must use the p and z type? Can we use d type for all side of doors? Thanks.

Yes, but when using d type on all places it will not seal the door perfectly,So it's better to use specific type seals on door bottom and front door area..

Put the rubber seals on direct sunlight for some time to get the adhesive heated for strong bonding , and should clean the surface well to remove any grease or wax , otherwise bonding will be not great.. 👍

+Sam Maan just measure door bottom length for p type , door sides for small d and front area for z type.. Each car needs different lengths buy little more than originally needs... You can also dampen boot and bonnet area using big D..

Each type is for different areas of car, So which one is your car needs most buy that, usually D Type is more easy to fit .. P type for door bootom side only, z type for door a Piller area...

Kwid ,alto,eon ,WagonR,Tiago and most cars have only basic rubber sealing , we are adding extra rubber sealing to reduce overall noise in the cabin and prevent dust entering the door sills..

I did not remove any rubber seal , stock rubber seals are there , I am added some more to dampen the doors, these rubber seals can be installed on any car that don't have..

I feel this area of door doesn't need this seal because when the door is closed this seal is not in contact with the metal body of the car. I think it's a waste.

It can be installed on any car, I think Innova may have these fitted from factory already. For complete sound damping do it from a car accessory shop, they will use sound damping sheets..

+Ram Sharma , basically Kwid has more noise level than other petrol cars, using this we can eliminate some amount of these sounds and if one can spend thousands money on useless car accessories I think it's better to spend some money on something useful .. , also I have received many other car owners queries about it and they also doing sound dampening..
