As always, the Blue Oval Car Barn has ongoing projects in a all stages of restoration. Owner Finley Ledbetter has updates and a requested walkaround tour of a survivor High Output (HO) 1972 Golden Glow Ford Mustang.
Nice one! Thanks for the video of the Gold Glow HO. Looking forward to more pictures and videos of this and your other cars. I live in Australia and have a survivor 72 Mach1 Gold Glow H code and your videos are a great resource to help me presurve my survivor.
That's a beautiful '72. The 71-73 Mustang doesn't get the love it deserves in vintage car circles. Looking forward to finishing my '71 and taking it on Hotrod Power Tour this summer
Love what you do! Not to sound like captain obvious but if the spacer is in the way it may just need to be bolted down again so the spacer doesn't interfere. Anytime I bolt a carb on one of mine I have to check for function of the secondaries. It doesn't take much for a spacer/gasket to get in the way of things.
Finley... Sweet 1972 HO! I used to own a 1971 BOSS 351 in the late 70s/early 80s. So, since this is a MACH 1 body.....I am guessing the VIN is probably 2F05RXXXXXX?? A couple other 72 HOs I've seen were standard body fastbacks...2F02R's. Guess the HO was also available in the convertible in 72 too? Any idea on the exact # of 72 HOs made? TIA. Randy C-17A :)
