Listening to this instantly brings back memories of being 13 and wanting desperately to get or do or be something but not knowing what at all, feeling so constricted and trapped by my circumstances, feeling angry and depressed and wanting to get better. Only ever got older

There is something about this song that is just ridiculously addicting. The vocals are great and it's just catchy as hell. Sort of reminds me of some other bands but I can't put my finger on which ones...Also the guy with the glasses singing into a lamp is pretty attractive. He's got like...a soulless stare and I just find that appealing like I don't know what I'm getting at here is everything is great I'll stop rambling now.

I have a 15 year old son who's at that stage where he is pushing away from me. To find his own feet I guess. Been there myself. It breaks my heart to think he might be feeling like this. Some things can be so intense when you feel them for the first time. All I can do is remind him I love him and that I've got his back. Wait it out and hope he comes out the other side. In one piece!

He looks so uncertain and passionate at the same time, and like it's just pulling him apart when he sings. It's hypnotic.

I love that crystallising moment in all the best CSH songs where throughout most the track you're confused about your feelings toward it. And then comes that immense and unequivocally resonant impact of knowing. So unique, there's not too many musical experiences like it.

It sounds like if the Strokes were trapped down a well. I like it.

I discovered this band by flipping through a rolling stone magazine. I saw a picture of will sitting there with his guitar and I was like "w h o is this beautiful creature? I have to listen to their music."

I saw them live tonight at the Crocodile in Seattle. FANTASTIC show!!! Will has so much passion in his voice when he sings.. CSHR is quickly becoming my favorite band of all time. The other band members rock so hard as well, and they are all such nice people. Me and my brother buy t shirts and whatnot online from them and they actually remembered our names! These guys are some of the nicest, most talented musicians I have ever met. I'd highly suggest seeing them live if they come to your town.

How does a parent connect with their child when they are feeling like this? I thought I knew the right way because I suffered much the same (runs in the family). I just love him so incredibly much. I don’t want to do anything to push him away or make his depression/anxiety worse. Children are a piece of your heart that walks outside of you. It’s so incredibly hard to see them suffer. I feel like I end up acting the opposite of how I feel because parenting can be so overwhelming. I mean this person depends on me to protect them, guide them, cheer them on, teach them morals and values, teach them to respect themselves and others, show them that being a good person is the best thing they can add to the world, make sure they love themselves unconditionally and see what a treasure they are like you see from your eyes… My parents messed up and I feel messed up but I want so much to be better for my child. To see your child suffer like this is heartbreaking. You blame yourself.

This is so good. Damn good. I feel like they are so close to creating something that flips the genre on its head. If they could just throw tons of money into quality recording and an audio engineer but just keep the lo fi vocals.

This kid has more talent than anything that has appeared on Saturday Night Live in the last 3 years. The droplight microphone is lifted straight from David Lynch's Blue Velvet and the whole video is pointless and Art School self-important but the music is something to reckon with. Great piece in The New Yorker to get the ball rolling. The last 5 years of work has paid off.
