@@BasedDad35 im sure there is however when i was looking none were exactly what i needed at the moment. This was the only video that clearly answered exactly what I was looking for.
From Texas. God bless and thank you for your service. This grandpa just got his first mini van and now I will go to my local fire station to make sure that my 2 and 5 year old are safe when riding in there car seats!
Thank you very much for the video. I'm not so great with written instructions (at least ones not written by myself for myself) so having the visual and audio instruction helped alleviate my worries that I might have installed it incorrectly.
Thank you so much sir for this video my first son is still in the NICU we are at day 96 and this video was so helpful because I had never installed a car seat before so can’t wait to do this tomorrow
My daughter will be coming home from NICU soon and I was soo worried and concerned about installing her base wrong and her not being secure. Thank you for helping me and giving me the piece of mind.
I just spent 90 minutes between reading then instructions (which didn't help), watching incomplete installation videos (also didn't help) and I gave up for the night. Found this video and I spent 10 minutes on the video and another 10 on installation and I'm done. Thank you so very much for this great video.
Thank you! I'm expecting a baby next month and this has been an informative video. I will come back to this video if I have any questions about how I put my carseat in.
This made me take a breath I installed my baby’s seat were now less than 3 months away from seeing my son for the first time and I haven’t been able to breath because I was scared the seat wasn’t on/done tightly enough but this has helped! Thank you!
Thank you for allowing comments unlike Gracos poorly designed RU-vid page. Being able to ask questions and having those questions answered is far more important to me than Graco protecting their image.
Thank you so much! Our beautiful son is in the NICU and hopefully coming home Friday! This was a HUGE help in making sure I installed the base correctly and I really appreciate all of the information! Greetings from Cleveland! :)
Thanks so much. I am having our 1st grand baby soon and I didn't know anything about carseats so this is very helpful. I even test fitted the carseat to make sure I knew how to do it
Thank you so much first parent we live in Miami and it's crazy here how people drive 🚗 by watching this helpful video I know how to install safety the car seat now 💺 many thanks again!
Thanks guys. Nervous about this, as we are first time parents, but I think we are ready for DDay now. coming 2/6/2021 The Canadians and the US teamed up in the actual DDay if I remember correctly, ha
So what's a safer install: a) center seat (no latch system) with seatbelt securing the base, or b) either driver or passenger side WITH the latch system? I'm reading center is safer than sides, but also reading latch is better than lap belt. My center seat doesnt have latch so I'm confused.
Hi, Both positions would be considered safe as long as you follow the car seat installation instructions and have the seat anchored in the vehicle according to the owner's manual. Hope this helps. You can always stop by at one of our Fire Halls to have our staff look at it to ensure it is installed properly. Thank You
Latch actually has a weight limit! So while latch and seatbelt are equally safe when used correctly, all kids will eventually ride in a seat that is installed with the seatbelt. Install your child’s seat where you get the best install.
Hi Scott. Thank you so much for this video. It is very helpful. Specially for my husband and I as a first time parents. I have a question. We live in Kitchener. Is there any fire station in Kitchener or Waterloo that we could get help to make sure that we have installed the base correctly?
Great video! And if you don't have two sets of hands to install the base, just use the car seat and the seat belt. That's just as safe. The base is basically a convenience feature.
Hi Abby, yes you need to cinch the seat in as tight as you can. The seat itself will be anchored and once your child is secured in the seat, you will be good! Thanks
@@oshawafireservicestraining5133 okay thank you for response! Do you know how I can prevent my baby's head from falling forward? The car seat is at the right angle according to the indicator, but she keeps trying to suck on her hand and hasn't learned hand to the head, not head to the hand I suppose haha But sometimes when we accelerate her head just flies forward anyways and we are concerned for her airway and her neck when that happens.
