Weird naming copycat chinese cars with no track record or history of reliability and low resale value, you would have to be a mad man to buy dat but to each his own.
First thing I'd do is debadge the vehicle, the naming badges is a distraction from the design of vehicle, the under powered engine is not a problem, we don't have roads for fast driving anyway, features for cheap and it's a new vehicle, I'm sold.
The engine choices are dismal. EU manufacturers offer a variety of engines, both petrol and diesel with adequate power for the size of the vehicle. What the heck is a 1.5 doing in an SUV? They should at least offer the V6 from the Tacoma. Cars are bad, but the engine choices need some variety. Even a 3.0 Turbo diesel would have been a better option than that 2.0 turbo petrol. When offroading, we need torque, which diesel provides in abundance and without much stress.
@hasani2555 that's exactly what I was thinking. And I wanna know how much it weighs as well. But what else did we expect from a knockoff Defender and Urus. We'll probably "made in China" somewhere on those vehicles. Meanwhile the reat of the world gets the high-end Chinese cars.
You do realize the previous generation of the defender, the puma run a 2.2 liter turbo charged engine?? And the one before that was a 200 and 300 tdi both of which were 2.5 liter…?
@apolloobel those are diesel engines.. the land rover has different engine options.. the new generation turbo 4 pot in the defender makes North of 300 hp.. toyota based suv uses hybrid tech and a 4 cylinder turbo.. this is just the turbo 4 cylinder making not much passed 200 hp
Jamaica 🇯🇲 need to to stop allow in those left hand drive vehicles, walk far from those Chinese Yukon stupid vehicles, stick with, Japan, USA 🇺🇸 and European vehicles!
