Four people were hurt when a crash on Wednesday morning left a car sinking in the mud near Desert Sky Mall in west Phoenix.
The incident happened at around 7: 30 a.m. on May 8 near 75th and Virginia Avenues.

There wasn't enough supporting material beneath the surface and it was porrly designed/planned. That type of erosion does not occur so rapidly. It takes time. Investigate.

Then there's the possibility that the driver of the submerged car is still in it and trying to finish a text. Life in the 21st century.

I’m sure they did otherwise I don’t think they would have shown it especially since there are no immediate emergency vehicles close by I’m thinking they got out and all is good
