And even then, they still sound like someone’s idea of what these cars would sound like. They don’t sound like exhaust, they sound like induction being synthesized through a coffee grinder funnel. But yeah, I’ll take these coffee grinder noises over the garbágio that is FM23’s sounds
@@oppos727 Aye, they *really* need to Upgrade to WWise (which Motorfest uses) and record the Sounds of *all* the Actual Cars in Catesby Tunnel using a High SPL, High Bass, Binaural Neumann KU100 "Dummy Head" (the one Top Gear has been using on Tunnel Run, my Gosh it sounds properly good on a 7.1.4 Headset!) Microphone for FH6.
looking back on this, forza really did step it up with some interesting cars honestly, some being recycled but they did bring back some kind of spark into the game again, hope it continues in fh6 and doesnt stagnate in the future
Those have to be the best sounding cars we've gotten in FH5 and the Huayra R and esseza scv12 as well. Forza are really pushing themselves and I love it
I don't think that there is a single person who actually likes the pops and bangs sounds in Forza Horizon 5 lol. But for real, they really need to change the pops and bangs sound and looks and add some crackles to the sounds too. I love how the backfire looks im Horizon 4 and in Horizon 5 it looks disgusting
I've asked this question before and I'll keep on asking until I get an answer or some answers can someone or anyone give me some game suggestions that has car sounds from in real life car counterparts or at the very least as close to it as possible also I have many reasons why I hate electric vehicles and one of them is their sounds is that of a vacuum cleaner, car wash, or the sound of a passenger planes engine boosting up
After watching The crew motorfest's car sound videos I am not amused by FH5 car sounds. It's like a waste of time. Thumb's up for TCMF for the current best racing game.
Crew motorfest might have quite good sounds. But fh5 is no doubt a much better game. But the thing is fh5 and likes of gt7 changes its sounds when you upgrade the car. Witch is a much nicer detail to be honest. And gt7 exhaust shape conpletly change after upgrading different exhausts.
@andreasmoller9798 honestly, with how bad FH5 is, I think Motorfest is the better game, and GT7 sound change with upgrades are very minor and doesn't really have a huge impact on sound. Whereas FH5 exhaust upgrades have a huge impact, to the point where I don't like upgrading cars because they sound horrible. I dont care if it's a nice detail. These incompetent mf's can't get one sound right half the time. Why should we have a system that changes sounds with upgrades.
@@Maverick9kthats completly wrong. The sound changes can have huge impact on the sound on the cars on gt7. It just depends on the car. And the thing is nobody is doing it as much in depth as gt7. 3 good car examples is Ferrari f12 berlinetta, alfa Romeo giulia gta m Porsche 911 gt3 rs both 991 and 992 not only does exhaust changes the sounds a lot but also a lot other upgrades like camshafts, titanium connecting rods and Pistons, engine balancing and more. There is proably another 50-100 cars that have major sound changes with those upgrades. Turbo and supercharger also changes the sound completly. Sounds changes in realife so of course its nice little detail to have in the game as well, Upgrading exhaust so it changes visually is a detail you see in reallife witch only gt7 does, and there is no game that have as much attention to detail as gt7 when it come to the cars. crew motorfest is not flawless either some cars in there sounds wrong to and the shifting is not great, And its not really a good game besides some of the good sounds. Both gt7 and fh5 is far better games as a hole. The worst part about crew motorfest is that most of the cars is useless as you are not using most of your own cars for the races. The upgrade system is also terrible campared to the ones you find in both gt7 and fh5. Its very basic and never feel unique to the cars. I thought with their 3rd game they would step that up but its barely made any improvments since the first game. It feels harder for me to support a studio that just killed the first game and made it unplayable. I regret buying crew motorfest. To even claim its even close to the best racing game is just silly, yes its better thsn nfs but they are so many better racing games on the market.
@andreasmoller9798 in GT7, I genuinely can't tell because I don't drive anything stock, and GT7 has never been notorious for quality sounding cars. In terms of overall game quality, GT7 is better than Motorfest, but FH5 is terrible, and Motorfest is a much better experience. Idk why you're complaining about the upgrade system when the entire point of it is to be different, force you to play the game more, and balance the cars in each class better. Visuals are better in Motorfest than in FH5, and The Crew has never been a visually superior game. Sounds in Motorfest are better than in FH5 and look how awful most of the sounds in Crew 2 were. Motorfest has actual narrative elements and captures the "Horizon" festival atmosphere better than FH3,FH4, and FH5 with how much car culture is on display and is the main theme of the game. Dialogue is better in Motorfest and doesn't feel cringy like FH5. (Like seriously why is our character some dumb brit?) And as for better racing games on the market, there is no other decent arcade racing games on the market other than FH5. All the other good racing games are simulators. Or at the very least simcade like GT7.
Fh5 has done a decent job on upgrading the sounds from fh4. But its a shame forza motorsport dosent take part of those improvments if anything they have set a new low for cars sounds in racing games. Ome thing i love about both gt7 and fh5 is that upgrade parts can have a big impact on how the cars sounds while in fm it barely changes at all.
I wish I could enjoy this game on performance mode with none of the annoying being green and purple flashes on distant foliage. Many are saying it's better than Forza Motorsport.
The split dual exhaust models sound like that, unfortunately. The center exhaust RSRs sound way better, but Turn10 didn’t get a center exhaust RSR. What irks me is that they reused the RSR sound for the GT3 R, which _does_ have a center exhaust.
@@gavcom4060not necessarily, the exhaust you’re thinking for the RSR that sounds like the one in game is the Pre-Season Testing version from early 2017. Mid season they changed it to a center exhaust and that’s the screaming RSR we all know and love. As for the GT3R… yeah they screwed the sound over badly…
