Guy with a 335 and an x5 35i here. Tune your x5 and it'll feel like the 335 but heavier. Stock it feels a bit slow specially with the shifts even though they both have the 8 speed.
@@Tenekai catless dp, aluminum chargepipe, and if you want most power upgraded FMIC, will sound amazing. then stage 2+ tune, your 0-60 will be less than 5 seconds making this faster than the 50i.
There are just not many crossovers that combine real utlility (can tow well, have a 75 cu ft cargo area, can fit 7 in a pinch) and this level of handling and acceleration. Lay off the options and when new these were $55,000 with some discounting for the SAV version. Most are optioned up to $70K, but they don't have to be.
It's better though, you don't have to pay for what you don't want. But if you buy them use, do some searching around for a while until you find one with all the packages, they don't cost that much extra then one without them cause dealers don't usually know about it. You can use a vin decoder to see what packages it has

+Bruno TaTa Not really, they are just build into the total sales price. Just like any certified pre-owned vehicles, extended warranty are not free but just part of the total price.
+MrTONYTONYM Well yes, but unlike Lexus, where you spend an average of $300 every 7500 miles (at least ours did) for the first 4 years, a total of $2400, you get about one "free" service a year(18,000 miles or so) , paid for at purchase time. This means the BMW is not as overpriced as it may seem. Parts are expensive, but they are on most luxury cars.
all these bmw's tend to be numb and unresponsive when their down low. there is turbo lag, combined with throttle lag (drive by wire) and, to me at least, when you press the gas you're not really sure what the car/truck is going to do. just hang on and wait for the turbo to kick you in the back of the head. sort of frustrating. i'd go with the diesel x5, anyone who's interested
I understand that companies to buy these cars however, I have yet to see one that drives one. Honestly the corporate vehicles that I see most often are such as Impalas and camrys because they are a dime a dozen. Maybe the top 2 people in the company get these vehicles but if your not a CEO or something of that nature you aren't getting anything that fancy. And just based on ones car I don't have a first impression unless its a pile of crap.
What a waste of money... Dress the car with a cool frame and tech. Overprice it and neglect the most important part: comfortable, smooth driving. I expected more from BMW.

This car does 0-60 in 6.4 seconds but it has 300 hp and ft-lbs of torque. The 335i has the same numbers but it can do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Is it because of the weight on the car? Or is it just a thing with SUVs?
hey FYI, its carbon fiber not aluminium!!! they use aluminum in engine and other parts of the body but not all of this car is made of aluminium cus its not sporty car otherwise price will go up more. also, it weighs around 4500 lbs!! that's not aluminium otherwise it will be around 3000 lbs. here trying to share info with u to correct ur knowledge. u r saying wrong information to people reading ur add. please type true info so people benefit from. i found 62 supporting u!! And honestly I don't care if I had to ask anyone for 10m because it would never happen, even if I did own a business I would be driving either an f250 king ranch or a king ranch expedition. Yes they are very nice cars, I don't need the symbol of a bmw, audi, lexus, etc to have a nice car.
