The abs module suffers from dry soldered joints. A reflow fixes it or a second hand / refurbed module then the coding if required. However that’s a guess prior to testing.
Intermittent CEL could be your plugs and coil packs- I know you swapped in the R8 coil packs in but could be the plugs if you didn't get new ones. Also too much dielectric grease allows for the coil packs to pop up. I forget if you have the FSI, but your cam follower would be something to swap of you haven't done it yet. Speed sensor I have no idea- hopefully it gets sorted.
Probably didn't have them until the after the tune was on, coil packs are a known thing to upgrade, Luke is just daft xD. However why QS didn't flag it as necessary when tuning we'll never know. It's also possible QS just didn't health check the car or do it properly. But that is simply speculation and not important, coil packs are being replaced and I'm confident that will fix the issue.

Garns 88, no I said it was hesitating slightly before the track day, not before the tune. I’ve done 2000 hard miles in the car at stage 3 without any issues...until now!

I was going suggest this as well. Instead of guessing - it might be this, maybe that - get some diagnostic kit, it's that cheap now. And show and talk about that and it would make more interesting content.
Take the M140i somewhere else to have a Dino run (somewhere with experience and knowledge) be interesting to see the results following your last video that’s showed the M140i looking a bit down on power compared to the other cars
I find this video really interesting as I use my MK5 R32 as a daily which has 90k miles on it and it has given me very little agro in 10 years of ownership. In fact the only things that has gone wrong are the fuel pump and it broke a spring! I also have a Mk7 R on the other hand and it's had more problems in 5 years of ownership.... moral of story - they don't build em like they used to!
ABS pump/control module failure on the MK5 , the fact that you are getting intermittent engine light coupled with other warning lights on the dash. Had that experience on my MK5 GTI Pirelli Edition. Also thought it was wheel speed sensor but scanning the car brought ABS control module codes. Like others have said; scan the car and don’t do guess work, probably yours might be a small issue of a sensor!
From your lat video, with all the hate for QS tuning (dont know why as i hvent been following you for long) do you think that might be partially the issue? Im not throwing hate i was just going to suggest maybe speaking to awesome gti / m performance here in manchester for both your VW and BMW.

MK5 Gti could ABS module unit the printed circuit get water or condensation in them please could you update and show us how you sorted out the ABS issues with the mk5 Gti thanks in advance for update and reply
Dumb comment. Considering that he (like 90% of VW Golf owners) tuned the cars to crazy levels. The reliability has to be compromised vs just running stock. My brother has a bone stock GTI V and only puts oil in it every year. Zero issues.
@@F.S92 Come back when you own a driving license & have owned a few prestige German cars. In warranty they are great. Cant knock the tech & build quality and feel of the car however long term durability is very debatable out of warranty they are a money pit! You only need to refer to the top ten reliability manufactures to see where VW rank.
If you wanted to go a similar route as Luke, then maybe the livery of the E92 GT2 car (the one with all the lines) or go with a flashy pattern/texture; chrome colors, camoflauge, these days anything is possible with wrap!
