I have bought extended warranty for both my santro and XUV 500 and have saved so much money in repairs. Atleast in both companies they did not have any exclusions in comparison to the normal warranty. I always recommend extended warranty.

I bought a pre-owned 2018 Nexon (P) in March and bought the extended warranty for 3 years/1,25,000 kms and P2P couple of days back. It costed me almost ₹30,000. I was a little worried if my decision was not right but your video just gave me the confidence that I was right in buying the EW! Thanks a ton for making such informative videos!!

Dealer have tried to fool me by adding logistics charge and AMC gold/ptp. Where I have directly deny to pay anything rather than the ex showroom price, tcs and the extended warranty and the dealer by no other choice has accepted. You knowledge is really valueble to me. It is still good to get extended warranty considering the cost of car no matter what it covers.. 15k for a 10L car is nothing to worry about. I buy extended warranty for everything that i buy. Washing machine, laptop etc. 👍

AC compressor costs Rs. 8-10k, gas filling, labor extra. Radiator fan costs 2-2.5K. Alternator 4K. Power window motor is 3.5K. I got all these parts replaced in 10 years of ownership of my car Tata manza, so that why I know.

Recently I came to know that my warranty was claimed fraudulently by the service centre. I took up the matter with the Car manufacturer including their President, but the response were very poor. It also affected my extended warranty renewal as the service centre wrongly mentioned the Odometer reading while fraudulently claiming my warranty and it was a herculean task to get the same corrected. I feel the manufacturers have given blind permission to the service centres to loot the customer any manner they want.

Hi Sir , please can you address one query. A lot of these warranty, insurance products are sold by dealership of their own and they just lie that its from company . Later own you realize that the product is agency specific. This happens a lot with Maruti as their dealerships are so big in turnover that they can do this easily. In my case, it happened with Sai Service in Pune.

Company wale easily parts nahi badalte hai. Wo humesha kuch na kuch excuse nikal hi lete hai. Agar engine me koi problem hogi to bol denge ki aap adultered fuel dalwate honge. Main maruti suzuki ke service centre me gaya, unhone kaha ki car ke kuch parts change krne ko. Maine kaha ok kr do. Wo log ready ho gaye, par jaise hi maine apna extended warranty certificate dikhaya to wo log excuses dhoondne me lag gaye. Wo bole ki aapki car ki service 20000 km par honi thi par aapne 22000 km par karayi. Aur 40000 km wali service 41500 km par karayi. Matlab kuch bhi excuse dene lage. Aur bole ki aapki extended warranty void ho gayi hai. To mujhe lagta hai ki aajkal ki cars me 2-3 saal ki unlimited km ki warranty aati hi hai. Agar car me koi problem hogi to itne time me pata chal hi jayegi. Agar car me koi problem hogi to wo starting ke kuch months me hi saamne aa jati hai. To mujhe extended warranty lena total waste of money lagta hai. Agar is cheez ka data nikala jaye ki kitne log extended warranty lete hai aur unme se kitne logo ko sach me uska fayda hua? To aise bahut kam niklenge.

I had a 2014 Grand i10 whaich had a battery leakage issue. It was a known issue with the batch and ideally I should have received a free replacement of the instrument cluster. But Hyundai service center refused warranty saying I had installed after market car alarm. So be careful with whatever you do to your car. Any accesory, be it car alarm, stereo, CNG kit etc, is worth getting fitted at the dealers end only so you donot lose warranty.

EW is a waste of money for lower or mid varaints. Good for top end. The ew policy says even if you install anything say the horn or fog light or ANYTHING other than showroom, it would void warranty even if its without any wire cut. And you cant argue. I installed a rearcam after market and Tata says its warranty is void.
