I am a vet, and I want to explain to you how, and why, it is actually VERY unlikely, that removing, or trimming the hair, in these areas, on monkeys, will be effective in eliminating odor: As primates, monkeys are amongst the fraction of the animal kingdom, to possess sweat glands, in the same way humans do. The hair actually tends to work as a mechanism for absorbing sweat/moisture in those areas. With the groin area, naturally consisting of creases, crevices and folds, it is known to sweat at increased levels, as a result of the added warmth in said creases/crevices. Additionally, due to the nature of these folds and crevices, and the way they physically present themselves on the body, these, particular areas tend to remain in total darkness, the majority of the time, as very little light is able to reach the skin within the folds. Moreover, it is, also, a very well known, medical fact, that areas, consisting of a dark, warm, and moist environments, happen to be the most optimal locations, in, both, harboring, and breeding bacteria. With that said, it is the dark, warm, moist nature of the crotch/groin area, of any primate, that is going to place it at an increased likelihood for harboring bacteria, and happens to be the presence of the bacteria, in these areas, that result in the unpleasant odor you are looking to eliminate! Unfortunately, however, by removing the hair in these places, you will cause an increase in the amount of moisture that remains on the skin, and trapped between crevices and folds. With no hair to act as a rag, to absorb the moisture, and essentially, wick it away, that moisture will be left, in excess, within that warm, dark environment, and therefore, without the hair, these bodily regions, actually become much more likely to trigger an increase in the amount of bacteria present; thus, the creation of an even stronger odor. Hopefully my explanation makes sense! I assure you that this method is actually counterproductive though, so I highly encourage that you refrain from doing it, asap!
Why couldn't you simply say, if you cut the hair it's doesn't eliminate oder! The hair is like a rag and helps! PERIOD!!!!! JUST BECAUSE YOUR A VET DOESN'T MEAN WE NEED TO HEAR A L....O....N....G. DRAWN OUT VERSION!!!!! SMH
You realize it's not because of the sweat smell if you ever dealt with a monkey there poop is very sticky he's getting rid of the fur that way he can wipe her down instead of bathing her everytime she goes to the bathroom they get poop I'm there fur down there and its awful smelling combined with the natural funk of the monkey and extra gross

Sorry bro, I'm Indonesian, I live in Indonesia, my language has become a guide, and I don't do violence or abuse this monkey, here I clean the fur of its dirt, and every day I take it for a walk and not in rantay, when I'm at home it's true It's my tradition to tie it up, so as not to disturb the people around it, even if I let go wild, the monkey doesn't want to, and is afraid of being hunted by the delinquents of human beings, who often disturb nature and animals.
@@raptorlangit9419 fuck that guy,he's a racist Karen who wants attention by calling any video that has pet monkeys in it abuse. He should learn to use Google translate or watch videos in English, your good bro..
