I'm so happy to say that I knew and loved a band before they reached legendary status. It's without a doubt that CARACH ANGREN will become legends in the world of metal.

Charles Francis Coghlan, a theatre actor and playwright, actually died after a long illness, even resulting in him missing the premiere of his own play. He did not dramatically die on stage;) His coffin was swept away by the infamous hurricane Galveston of 1900, more than a year after his death, as it was still in storage while waiting for a final decision on his burial. It was eventually found in a Texan marsh. His coffin and its contents were in a surprisingly good condition after being battered by a tornado and soaking in an acidic marshes, because it was made of metal.

Lyrics read like a history lesson. Between these guys, Iron Maiden and metal in general, I've learned more than I did at school...

I was SO impressed when I saw the video they released for ''When Crows Tick on Windows'', I loved absolutely every element in it, this one is no exception and seeing it was directed by the same guy (Sir, you are talented), I guess it makes sense. This video, as the music itself, is a gem, and you can feel their passion and dedication even in their acting... I would love love LOVE to see a making-of for this one, from all the creative process to the actual filming ! I bet it must be super interesting, that's for sure ! Carach Angren you are true masters of your art, and I can't help but being astonished everytime I dig into your world !

Seregor, How could you have missed the continuation of an extraordinary climax from this song at 3:35 -3:44. That beautiful dark part needed to be repeated a couple times to achieve a total perfection.

Carach Angren has just made their best album yet. Yes, I really said that. This album reached levels where not even "Death came through a Phantom Ship" and "Lammendam" could follow. This and "Three Times Thunder Strikes" are my favourites songs off the new album. The story is also great, the fact how the reader is pulled into the story at the end of the album is pure perfection. Good job Carach Angren. Ik weer trots Nederlands te zijn.

I'm blown away. So glad I found them

I seriously would reconsider life if it's normal that there's smoke and light coming from underneath my bed like that. But for real this is such a melodic masterpiece of them. This is probably in my top 3 songs of them ever. The chorus has such a hauntingly, triumph, melodic and sad sound to it that it goes through flesh and bone and hits you right in the feels. Damn I am always skeptic about albums if the one before was a masterpiece or the one therefore. But fuck yes this looks amazing!
