Thanks for highlighting the carambolim lake,you would had talk locals regarding this lake history. The lake was created artificially and contain fresh water. Its initial purpose was to be used irrigate the nearby paddy fields surrounding it,even on this lake rice crops was cultivated before the water was block to irrigate the nearby paddy fields.
You young couple very smart to speak concanim so fluently. I’ve been in Carambolim when my sister was in the convent of Jesus and Mary. The lake is beautiful. We ate some fish from the lake. Very tasty fish. Bird’s immigrating to other parts of the world. I had never seen it before. Thanks for reminding me of this lake. I really did enjoy it. Now it looks like it has improved as far as road is concerned. Good on you two. Keep up the good work. This is great journey and better life to come yet. I had forgotten so much of Goa.
