Hi Colin, A good detailed video there 👍. You’re right, the plug can easily become misaligned and won’t push into the socket. It happened to me once but I managed to twist the plug back into place. I then bought an alignment tool but its never happened since 😅. Cheers Rob

Hi Colin. The best way to avoid misalignment of the 13 pin plug is not to store it in the 'A' frame fairing location as the plug can slightly rotate as it's inserted and/or removed due to the locating hole's shape. The alignment tool doubles as a storage cap. It has a rubber 'O' ring inside which keeps out water and dust. Using the tool as a cap will naturally prevent misalignment issues. Incidentally, on the 13 pin plug, it isn't the centre section with pins that rotates, it's the outer plug body. Regards, Barry.
