I’m so excited. I just purchased one of these for my husband. A surprise gift. He wants to start learning to play guitar. Watching your video makes me even more excited that I picked out a great one for him. Thank you for sharing
I bought this guitar a few months ago. After some research, I came across this video and it sealed the deal for me, I had to have it! Sooo beautiful and sounds great. Oh and FYI, the fretboard is Indian Rosewood. Informative and honest review, I love my Aussie made guitar... Even more so because I’m Australian and it’s great to support and to have a well made, beautiful Australian company owned product! Thank you 😊💖🇦🇺
@@GWGuitarStudio Hello, well they equally sound and look great! I recently bought a Martin Klema, spruce top w/Indian rosewood back and sides. Until now, I assumed it was made in the US and imported here, thinking they were only restricted, after a RU-vid video I watched (& obviously didn’t pay enough attention to🤦🏻♀️) Sooo, my guitar won’t have been made in the US after all. I could only find a few Klema’s available in the Spruce/rosewood combos here, where they cost a little more, but still reasonable. Err, I have some research to find where she was made. Thanks for the follow up.
Aussie made I don't think so. Show me the factory address I'll go visit locally in AUS. Don't get fooled local street Aussie business doesn't mean AUS made there's a big difference. Like saying Maccas is Aussie made lol. You cant get out of bed for any low price in AUS especially mfg complexed products like guitars & survive against competing with China & Indonesia cheap slave labour. Have you seen the all the mixed taxes & extra inflation in this country ongoing? Try making a pencil in this country lol
Almost any guitar under $1000 (US) is made in China today. Epiphone, Washburn, Samick, etc. are all made by Chinese factories to the specs the brand requests. The Caraya brand is based in Australia, but like all the rest, it came out of a Chinese factory.
Hi. Thanks for the comment. No, there haven’t been any issues at all. It seems very sturdy and well-built. I own a Caraya banjitar also and it is very solid as well. Very pleased. If I was in the market for another guitar, I would definitely consider buying from Caraya. Good value.
Nice demo - it's definitely making me consider taking a chance on this guitar. Were there additional charges to the shipping charge? Also , just wondering what that classical tune was that you played at the 7:47 mark. I'm more of an electric guitarist but I'm starting to get into finger picking - I guess I'm mellowing out with age!!!!
That’s a bad rendition of Bach’s Minuet in G Major at 7:47. The shipping on the guitar was around $40 at the time. The exchange rate with Australian dollar was very favorable. Right now, shipping costs are high in the aftermath of Covid.
The company is in Australia, just like Epiphone is in the United States. Almost every guitar under $1500 is made in Asia and branded as OEM for these companies. They are very nice instruments.
