I bought a set of wedges and shims from this company and was absolutely delighted with the product and the result. And the videos were tremendously helpful, also.
I only know about brick hammers. I have just bought the Vaughan Bon brick hammer after having the one I bought as a apprentice stolen. (The wooden handle ones are virtually impossible to find in the UK.) I have tried most brick hammers as a replacement but after 30 years, I bit the bullet and imported one from America. It was just a good as I remember, just the best brick hammer ever made. Forget all the fancy handles they try to sell you, it is just marketing because wooden handles are more expensive to produce. A good wooden handle will absorb vibration better than anything out there.
the term bush hammer is a bit of a misnomer..........the word comes from the german word ...butsch meaning bitch....the word for bush is busch....the bush hammer is sometimes called a bitch pick.....but its likley it referred to "dog tooth...."....and something was lost in the translation during the old english/german era....just to make it more confusing....buchsen means socket.....or insert.....lol.
Yeah. I call bull shit, as in die Bullescheiße. That is NOT the translation of bitch in German, die Hünderin is. But better still, miststück which approximates the usual meaning in English.
@@boxsterman77 Maybe it's a noun thing, like boshaftes Weib, but from old English, modern translation seems to have omited it, iI picked up that one years ago.
