I was there with my friends. At one point a guy next to us just broke down crying, like proper waterworks. We went to hug him, and ended up with about 12 people in a group hug. It was a moment I will never forget, and something CBL made happen.
I was the guy in the djalaba and hat crying the waterworks in the middle of the group hug. It was the most beautiful and godly moment of my life. Thanks for sharing that moment with me, to CBL and to the Valhalla truffles.
I work for the US Postal Service. It is definitely A STRESS ENVIRONMENT. On many breaks I plug in my Bluetooth earbuds and zone out to the sonic ambience of CBL. Thanks guys. Love your art.
Mankind had such a wonderful chance to make life such harmony for all beings but we blew it. Selfishness, ignorance, power and greed won out over love, kindness, sharing and harmony.
This performance at Psy-fi was life changing for me and my girlfriend. It was the 4th time I saw them live, but it is just as amazing each time. I will treasure each moment of time that is spent listening to their music with other wonderful people.
I discovered Carbon Based lifeforms by accident, what a discovery, really spiritual and uplifting music. I am old school Planet Gong, Pink Fairies, Steve Hillage,Ground hogs and Enthogenic, just to name a few.
I remember the sun finally breaking through that evening, it was beautiful. Amazing lineup: Entheogenic, CBL, Solar Fields, Aes Dana. Thank you Psy-Fi and see you again this year!:)
I use Carbon Based Lifeforms at work when surrounded by vacuous mundane irrelevant chatter about toxic mediocrity, I put my headphones on and I'm in code heaven - I focus on thoughts of pure abstract logic and javascript gets written. Everything is perfect as it is, including creativity in the present moment that makes future moments possible.
I wanna say thank you to the people at Psy-Fi for promoting peace, love, unity, and respect, and for putting in the work to bring together the amazing artists and creations you guys share with the world... A place where dance, togetherness, open-mindedness, love and caring for your fellow man, acceptance, and understanding can thrive... Places where you can just feel safe, bask in the glory of life itself and be held by the loving embrace of the network of peaceful people surrounding you need to exist and continue to grow. In the chaos of life, in this mean and materialistic world, somewhere to decompress and get back in touch with what it truly means to be human is very necessary for maintaining a meaningful and evolving life... The psychedelic world... the people, the music, the art, the science... I believe is the closest thing to truth and wisdom that we can find here on Earth. A path that encourages the expansion of the mind, body, and soul. It really ties everything together into one beautiful tapestry that makes life so much easier to understand.
Seeing this video now during the lockdown it makes me crave more and more for a normalised world again and have such wonderfull moments again with CBL... CBL music really pulls me through this pandemic. Thanks again once again CBL!!
All the hate comments about tai chi man and hippies you same folk would be too self concioness to start moving like that because your too afraid to let go and scared what everyone one is thinking about you. They not dancing but feeling the music and being in the moment.
Spot on man, touché!! I admire them for being able to do that, i myself AM in the process of letting go of that feeling of being shy, or afraid to BE judged. It really is a behaviour barrier. Keep doing you, much love.

not a trivial thing to let go like that. i appreciate that crowd being so open to it and accepting of others doing whatever. [willy, please check ur spelling/not trying to be buzz kill here; just helping a brother out ;}]. it's "self conscious", and "you're"/not "your". but ur point is spot on like Carina said. keep the fire burning!
Не можем!??? ))) Дело не в этом, сдержанность это то что делает человека человеком. Данную музыку можно понимать гораздо глубже, чем просто меланхолично трясти яицами) Наркоманы!)
Thanks again for this amazing moment. I'm so glad we've lived this alltogether. Huging with new friends from all around the globe. This chillout stage was my home for nearly the all week. And it's with much love that I thank all the crew once again for making it possible. Can't wait for next year, don't need a line-up to trust you'll do an amazing job.
I hitchhiked around Australia, alone in the outback, alone on the edge of a rain forest, trees were talking to me to let me know I was safe and protected and I felt closer than any living human to the gate of heaven.
I am so glad I found CBL. Their artwork is just amazingly healing-ful. This music has such cool vibes. It really calms you down and relaxes you completely. It's also super nice to listen to when you do some stretching exercises :-)
Totally agree, sometimes I feel that their music is more like a kind of non-pharmacological medicine than "simply" music. Neurological maintenance software...
@@thecodingfoundation Then now is the time! They are actually starting again later this summer when Covid restrictions are lifted. What part of the world are you in? Chances are that there's one nearby you already... As for the cost, just hitch a ride with someone else for transportation and usually you can get in for free if you sign up for some minor volunteer work.
Shout out to all those beautiful gals & guys in the front row. You know how to wave, enjoy and soak this type of other-worldly music. Wish I was there.
I can honestly say that CBL is My favourite group (I wouldn't even call them a band). What they do with their music to me is indescribable. One CBD Joint. Discography of CBL and I'm in the different, better world for many hours. Thank You Carbon Based Lifeforms for being the Soundtrack to my life :) I love You.
I had one of those moments with this CBL Track. I had listened to it earlier while I was working from home. Later on in the evening, I suddenly had this beautiful, majestic song bounce into my head - and I wasn't sure where I had heard it. I listened to the Psy-Fi 2017 set again and found out it was Frog. The interesting thing is that my sub-conscious mind knew that I loved that song before "I" did. Frog was just thrown forward into my mind. Carbon Based Lifeforms carries me away.......
Massive respect to each one there who is able to be themselves without fear from judgement. I applaud them. I wish one day I could be like that. Maybe ahead in time. For now. I give kudos to those free spirits.
i am siiting here front of my computer and i feel like i am there! Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad are absolutely geniuses! Cheers from Göteborg!!
on and on again wonderfull feelings i come back from time to time to this video , when i'm in proper state and i enjoy it everytime! repeat mode. Thank you CBL for this. peace and love , somethimes is hard to find. Love from Romania
Saw them in Riga some 10-11 years ago. I was the moron yelling and cheering when the sample of "what about the forests" came on. It was raining so they did a short set but the environment with the bridge fully lit, darkness and rain was even more proper for CBL sound. CBL has never been summer daytime music.
@Psy-Fi Festival: I totally loved how Entheogenic, CBL, Solar Fields, Aes Dana were lined-up next to each other. Please consider doing this for 2018 if possible! ;-)
This is truly music to bring people together in harmony and joy. CBL I've listened to all your work ( possibly l) it is beyond perfection ❤️❤️❤️👌❤️❤️❤️
Hola, right now, in this moment of my life, i just want to be in silence, enjoying nature sounds or this... Nothing else, even reggae lol.. anyoneelse feels the same, hugs and love from mexico thanks 4 this brothers
impossible to express how much i love music, how deeply can respect those who can create something extraordinary and not only in music, the passion, the love of a profession can make me astonished just listen and watch,
How do you even make this kind of music? It touches my soul, so thank you, CBL. Thank you for all the introspection and healing that your music has brought.
Haha, I didn't notice him. I was too busy looking at the guy on the right without a shirt who is doing the weirdest dance moves throughout the whole set.
