Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) overview 

This session provided an overview to CBAM, a policy tool designed by the EU, to address carbon leakage and ensure that the price of carbon emissions is consistent both within the EU and on imported goods.
CBAM targets imports of specific goods and sectors that are at high risk of carbon leakage. Initially, this includes cement, iron and steel, aluminum, fertilizers, and electricity.
